I hate that thing he does with his hand to indicate the falling stock levels. Really annoys me!

    The 'old days'

With art, if you like it, you like it and you don't have to justify yourself to anyone. Just because something costs millions doesn't mean you have to like. Van Gogh's Sunflowers goes for mega money, but personally l cannot see anything special about! Likewise, because something is cheap doesn't...

By broomstick obviously! Or maybe she'll just disappear in a puff of smoke! :giggle:

    Beware Craft Warning!

Yeah Bid's standard of product is definitely at an all-time low! I've bought some nice items over the years, and even up to a short while ago there were still things popping up that l would have bought had it not been for the excessive p&p. Nowadays, however, l wouldn't be interested in the tat...

lf there ever was a reason not to go to Pontins, this is it!

Paul Becque has left the building

Think that could well be the charming Lisa Brash; She was on last night and l could only watch for about 2 minutes before l could take no more! The length of the skirt she was wearing would have been better suited to one of those phone-in channels higher up the programme guide! :call:

l went into a Home Bargains store once....very depressing place! Makes of you think of one of those fly-on-the-wall documentaries that BBC3 show about areas that have become a bit less, savoury, shall we say.

Saw those 'high end' umbrellas made by Elle, that they always flog in pairs, for sale in Homebase today, stocked high in their 'impulse buy' section near the checkout. They were there with cheap microfibre cloths, lint rollers and mini dustpan and brush sets. Yep, real high end stuff that!

    General ridiculousness thread

Two bits of ridiculousness from Peter Sherlock today. First while selling a perfume (surprise, surprise) he said; "Do you want a perfume that makes you smell amazing?" No Peter, we want one that makes us smell revolting! Do you have any of those??? Secondly, during the selling of the above...

Paul Becque has left the building

Can't say l'm sorry to see him go! Couldn't stand when he used to look at the camera and scream out GO...GO...GO!!! plus all those references to 'Bob'. My only regret is he didn't take 3 or 4 others with him!

The more you look at Bid's tactics, the more you realise how utterly despicable they are!

This weeks ASA ruling against Sit Up - 6 March 2013

The ironic thing is, instead of the ASA going after repeat offenders, such as Bid. They instead get funny with the member of the public who brings the contravention to their attention and bans them from reporting any further breaches, citing that they cannot spend too much time on one person...

    steven gayford

I was watching St Peter selling the Gayford's tonight and l cannot for the life of me understand why someone would buy one??? They are absolutely dreadful. They look like something you'd buy on a market stall for about a fiver! Awful, awful stuff!

    Peter Simon

While selling the Laurelle Sexxy-Shoo perfume tonight he described it as..."an agent provocateur". Now, whether he was just trying to say it is captivating or whatever, that sounds very much like trying to pretend it's made by (or associated with) a major name brand. Very mis-leading Mr Simon!

    James Russell Comes Clean.....ish!

    Peter Simon

St Peter was selling Dreamcatchers yesterday and he took his babbling, crap talking style to a new level. The things he promised having one of these in your house would bring, was truly disgraceful. It really is time they got shot of the old buffoon!
