Lulu Guinness Accessory Gifts TSV 09/12/16

I love the Paula. It's a real favourite for me. I have the small Paula though, which from memory was a TSV a while back. I have the pale pink and the damson. Knew I'd love the pale pink and took a chance on the damson. Honestly the show stopper is the damson. It's stunning and goes with pretty...

MarlaWynne Front Pocket Sweater Coat OTO

I have a few things from Marla Wynne and love them but nothing lately has grabbed me at all. Seems to be going to hell a bit.

    Frank Usher Accessories TSV 16/11/16

The Frank Usher cape TSV last year was similar. There was something almost identical sold under the brand name Joanna Hope. I've pointed out before that QVC used to sell the brand Ronen Chen which is exactly the same as Chesca on my local high street and the web. Chesca even used Tania the QVC...

    QVC Gold Jewellery Disintergates!!!!???

Rereading her first post it does imply it was 6 years ago but it could be she meant that the consumer rights (or whatever it's called these days) only extend to purchases less than 6 years old. Would be nice to know exactly what happened to the jewellery. It sounds like one day it was fine...

    MarlaWynne Fashion TSV 17/11/16

Oh it is!! I also think the neck line looks skewiff on a lot of the models so I suspect it's the neckline that's the reall issue. Also now you've encouraged me to watch, Lesley Ebbetts is pulling it forwards to make it sit right a lot of the time. Almost like it's not big enough around the...

I don't like those fasteners. Great done up but dreadful undone. Done to cut the cost of button holes I always feel. And that collar looks a bit wonky on most people. I bought something very similar in shape but not in a knitted fabric from M&S. It's a textured viscose polyester mix. A but...

Battle of the big Christmas TSV'S

None for me either. The only one I might have bought was LE but I don't need anything. I don't stockpile any more. I would rather buy just the bits I want and need as and when. Have bought Molton Brown and Philosophy as gifts but neither was a TSV. I rarely buy any beauty TSVs other than the...

    QVC Gold Jewellery Disintergates!!!!???

Picky I know, but you cannot buy something and call it an heirloom. By definition an heirloom is something that is passed down through the generations. A future or potential heirloom maybe but not an heirloom. And we have absolutely no way of knowing what will or won't become sought after in...

    QVC Gold Jewellery Disintergates!!!!???

I only have one piece of jewellery from Argos and I have worn it every single day for something like 20 years. It a 9ct gold ring. You'll laugh when I tell you it's a toe ring. :o) seriously though it's great quality, it's stayed shiny and bright and I never, ever take it off. I suspect might be...

Oh that's my pet peeve!! Heirloom piece. What rubbish.

    QVC Gold Jewellery Disintergates!!!!???

I'd have thought there would have been some warning signs if the problem was porous casting. I've seen it on antique pieces and it starts off like cracks in plaster. And it can be "fixed" if caught in time. Again like repairing a crack in plaster. It doesn't excuse it but I can't imagine any...

What are your best or worse purchases on QVC?

I think my best two have already been mentioned. Mr M with the Air-ram. I ****** love it. I am so tempted to buy a second even though I really don't need one living in a three bed townhouse but one up and one down would be bliss! Minx with the Leighton Denny manicure set. It is brilliant. The...

What's your take on Kipling !

Anyone been to the outlet at Bicester Village? That's good for luggage. Not cheap as chips but pretty good prices. Bought my hold-all from there about ten years ago. Big enough for a long weekend. Looks really good still.

What's your take on Kipling !

Great for things like overnight bags, a flight bag or a hold-all. Brilliant in fact. I stay away from home at least one night a week so mine gets well used and they stand up well. I also like them as holiday bags. I bought a pre loved white Fairfax and used it on holiday this year. I also have...

Well that's the new watch. Not a friendship bracelet so that makes more sense. Rules me out though. I have a watch I wear everyday. I wouldn't want another. I've got others but I just don't wear them now I have this ... present from my dad for my 50th.

Suzi I love the scarves but even so I would agree that they really are over priced. The great thing is that you can pick them up in the sales for very reasonable prices. House of Fraser often have them in the sales. And the LR website sale is a good option too. I think they make great gifts...

    What is a table gift?

I wondered if the idea originated from the Italian tradition of bomboniere. And QVC have picked it up and blown it out of all proportion. Not something I do. But I do usually make my own crackers with personalised gifts. But they are very small. Not least because the buggas have to fit in the...

    Christmas jewellery

I bought the snowflake eek pendant a few years ago for my stepmother. It was so pretty, I bought one for myself too. I do tend only to wear it in winter but it's not exclusively Christmas as such. You can pick up lovely Christmas bits and bobs on the High Street. I like Christmas key rings.
