    Birchwood - First Visit Impressions

I go to Birchwood quite often and I was there yesterday . I like it very much . You never know what you are going to find there . I like that it's possible to try on shoes or coats etc , often avoiding the need to send things back . Clothing appears to be jumbled up but is sorted out on racks...

    New Years Resolutions!!!

One of my New Year Resolutions is to be very careful and selective about any QVC purchases I make ! I will always add in the P&P cost when considering the price ! I will watch the programmes purely for entertainment or ' research' purposes to find out what , if anything is new . I will NOT be...

back to back jewellery - yawn

I'm delighted the TSV is stainless steel because there's no way I'm tempted to get it !!! I do enjoy the jewellery shows but agree that a full day is an overdose . Some of the items still seem expensive , particularly by the time P&P has been added.

Northern Nights TSV Thurs 22nd Dec

Discovering NN flannel last winter changed my life !!! The cosiness is fantastic and it was only in the start of summer that I could bear to switch to the other kind. I also love our NN down duvet , puchased about 6 months ago . It's so lovely and light , yet warm . I've bought flannel sets as...

    Honora and their ring pearls

I just love pearls ! I very much enjoy watching the Honora shows on QVC & I learn a lot about how pearls are produced. I have quite a few Honora necklaces . My favourites are the graduated rondels with the rocker clasp & also a long string of coin pearls in shades of gold , bronze & silver. I...

    Julias Slippers

I now wear my Emu Jolie slippers daily and mine too are flattened and bald on the inside . The difference between today's TSV and last year's is the cream trim and inside on these. Last year only the chestnut ones had the cream trim ( hence JR choosing this colour for her 'fictitious 'claim ) ...

    Emu tsv 12/12/11

They are the Jolie slippers that I am wearing on a daily basis at the moment. They are wonderful ! A shop in my local high street also sells them for £40 ( without P&P ) . I fancy +++ another pair in charcoal .

    northern nights pillows

I bought my feather pillow from Dunelm Mill and find it very comfortable , using a much thinner cheaper synthetic one beneath. The only slight problem is that the feathers do tend to work their way out through the cover so I use a pillow protecter cover also to minimise this . Dunelm Mill had...

    EMU TSV Tues 15th November

I'm so glad that they've brought the Albas back again ! They are great for people with 'chunky ' calves . I'm longing for more Emu slippers , though ! I'm wearing my one and only pair non- stop these days . I really need to have a reserve pair !!! Today's TSV wasn't really to my taste ...

    Bob Mackie TSV

Just want to say that , in my opinion , Bob Mackie himself seems to be really nice and without the huge ego of some of the other designers who visit QVC ! Most of his designs are too elaborate for my taste , including the sequins on the TSV . However , I do have the ' Imperial ' fleece in...

What type of candle do you like best?

I like Yankee Candles best ! I prefer the jars . Personally I don't like fragrances that smell of anything edible eg. fruits , vanilla , chocolate or any Xmas spicy ones. I love nearly all the floral ones and 'Driftaway ' I like very much. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to get rid of the...

Maybe we were all too busy watching QVC !!!

    The Best Item

A great thought provoking thread ! It's very hard for me to make one choice . I'm torn between my Carole Hochman plush zip up robes ( I have three in different colours and adore the cosiness ) , my Chop Wizard for chopping fruit or veg . , which gets used all the time and my set of...

    What happens to returned goods?

I think that QVC should make it clear what their policy on foodstuffs is . I still don't know , like some others on here. Is there a difference between returning part of a pack of something that can be eaten and returning a part used bodywash / personal care set or a scented candle set ...

    What happens to returned goods?

I once returned part of an assorted flavour pack of Easiyo Yoghourt . I found I liked the natural ones but the fruit flavours weren't to my taste . I was refunded only a proportion of the cost . By the time I'd paid the return P&P it was hardly a free 30 day trial !!!

    What happens to returned goods?

I sometimes shop at Birchwood outlet . It's obvious that quite a lot of the stock there consists of ' returns ' . Some items have been opened from the packaging and resealed and even have the original return slip in the box . Some items of clothing have obviously been worn or damaged. I don't...

Cook's Essentials TSV Wed 26th Oct

Perhaps he just needs to eat more of the food that he cooks . On the other hand perhaps being surrounded by delicious looking food all day puts him off ! Maybe it's like people working in a chocolate factory not wanting chocolate !!!

    The Dedication Of Lulu

Has anyone on here tried any of her products ? If so are they any good ? Personally I can't stand most of the beauty shows and am very suspicious of what is being said !!! Lulu seems OK in very small doses.

    Diane Gilman TSV 28/10/11

I really fancy these. I didn't know that she does short lengths as I usually have to shorten trousers myself unless I get them from M&S .
