LE has 'sold its soul'
This is the headline of an article in our local paper on the sunny Isle of Wight. Liz apparently described the buy-out as a partnership between the two companies, although Avon has confirmed it is an all-cash acquisition.
The company based in Ryde employs more than 200...
Agree with you ArtDeco. The giggling at what they're listening in their ears from the gallery is, in my opinion, so rude. One that comes to mind is JF. Pipa and Claire are my favs. as well.
I to think Claire is lovely. She is always the same - very up beat. She appears to be a very kind and thoughtful person. She has had some hard knocks since having her family but she copes brilliantly. She appears to be a perfect daughter and a brilliant best...
This is so true. When we visit our family in Florida we were surprised to seeour teenage grandaughters walking the dogs in their p.j's and going to the local store. Mind you they do live in the country, not in a town or city.
I agree that she does babble a lot and sometimes I have to switch over but she is the best presenter that they have got. She always shows an interest in all the demonstaters products - although some of them are carp - unlike all of the other presenters none of whom have the remotest clue about...
I like Anthony and find him, at times, very funny. Enjoyed his presenting especially when he was with Dawn. Hope that he is replaced with someone that you all approve of - but I doubt it.
We bought these last year - not from IW though. We were very pleased with the result . We have bought some more seed potatoes this year and will use the same bags. We only used ordinary potting compost and fed them occasionally with general purpose liquid fertilizer.
Your Mum sounds like my kind of person. OH and I will be doing exactly the same on Sunday - watching F1. We have three sons - 2 of whom live in the States. I expect son no.3 will be round to see me/us but not whilst the race is on - he's a fan as well.
I'm a Granny and wouldn't buy any of the clothes in her range. By the way - I mean an old Granny, well into retirement.
Not too keen on Charlies presenting style- bit on the smug side.
I have bought all my Christmas gifts on line this year. Like Pollybelle I don't live near any large shopping centres (ferry ride away) and local shops seem to consist of estate agents and charity shops but the main reason for using t'inernet this year is that I had the misfortune to break my...
I am just watching Debbie on the Craft Show with Amy. She is such a breath of fresh air - nice voice to little to, not too pushy and just all round very nice. I didn't like her very much first time round but she seems to have matured or perhaps it's me. Well done Debbie - I wish you luck...
Similar thing happened to me yesterday also. The day before I tried to place an order but due to a website problem the order couldn't be processed - or so I thought. I was told to either ring my order through or try on line later on. The next day my order was accepted. Sometime later I...
I have posted earlier that I won't be watching DB but what I don't understand is why people would want to buy faux fur anyway. It not only looks tacky but by buying from him you are sending out conflicting views i.e. I can't afford to buy 'real fur' so I'll buy faux instead. Personally I...
