Alternative to Liz Earle instant boost Tonic please

I also use the Elemis toners. I like that you can spritz on. I’ve tried all three over the years and like them all but tend to use the apricot one. I have normal/combination skin but sometimes a bit sensitive.

Final Yankee Candle Show On QVCUK???

There has been another Yankee show in the last couple of weeks that Rosa did and she seemed very subdued on it. I thought this was coming as alot of their items have been in clearance recently. Such a shame for Rosa as she seemed very nice. I do have an outstanding waitlist item due on...

    Molton Brown Bargains

I had thought about regifting but then felt a tiny bit ungrateful. I may donate as you suggested, I would feel a bit better about doing that 👍

    Molton Brown Bargains

I love Molton Brown but also got a couple of sets of B&H for Christmas. Is it any good?

    Plants2Gardens TSV 28/01/22

Our street has grass verges outside of the houses and some of them have flowering cherries, including the verge outside of our house. It is beautiful. Blossom in the spring and orange leaves in the autumn. A couple of the trees looked as if they weren’t doing great in recent years and the...

    Plants2Gardens TSV 28/01/22

Another thumbs up from me for Plants2Gardens. 👍 I bought 2 sets of the hardy fuschias last year as our garden has alot of clay and shady areas. They were fabulous and all flowered for a long time. Looking forward to them flowering again this year. I have had a few items from them and they...

I love cheap Cadburys easter eggs. I don’t mind a more expensive one but cheaper are soooo much better. Can’t beat a bar of Dairy Milk 😂

    Gail Samways

I am very accident prone and have injured both ankles. Once I stepped out of the back door with boots on and stood on one of our boys wellies that was lying on its side. My ankle went over and the pain was excruciating. After x-rays, steroid injections, numerous trips to GP and physio and...

Nail polish: I wondered if …..

I’ve used base and top coat for over 30 years. I trained as a beauty therapist in the late ‘80s and we were taught to use them then. Nail polish will usually be good for around 5 days but I usually get bored before then. I agree that nail polish did used to last longer but it did used to have...

How do they justify 'shelf life unopened'?

I’ve always gone by smell and texture. I was a beauty therapist many, many years ago and we didn’t have ‘use within’ dates then. I’ve got powder eyeshadows that are well over 10 years old that I still use (I do have alot) and I’ve never had an eye infection. I have loads of OPI nail polish...

    Christmas candles/Yankee Burning

I also have a few of these jars that I bought as a set last year. I was sorting out my stash to see if I can use any for Christmas presents but I will be keeping all of these 😀

    Christmas candles/Yankee Burning

I am burning Golden Chestnut and Autumn Gathering together as I am trying to get through my stash and determined they aren’t going back in the cupboard. They are very autumny. I can’t wait to get christmas candles out, maybe this weekend 👍 My favourite christmas candle is currently Glistening...

    L’Occitane TSV 21/11/21

I also justified buying this by going through my stash and seeing what I can gift. I’m giving duplicates of Molton Brown to brothers and sis-in-laws rather than buying for them. 👍👍

    L’Occitane TSV 21/11/21

Well, I was going to order two of these and was just trying to make up my mind on which to when I thought I would check my large stash. I found that I already have 150ml tubes in two rose varieties, lavender, vanilla and a lime one. No idea how old some of these are but they still smell okay...

Just how many new treatments can Gatineau bring out??

I loved the Laser range. It is the product that has made the most difference ever to my skin and I’ve been using beauty products for almost 40 years (made me feel very old typing that 😂).

    Fifty Thousand??

My hairdresser said the same. She bought the hairdryer first but returned it and then had the Dyson straighteners but returned those as well. She said they were no better than the GHDs she usually used that were half the price.

    Tili - lots on clearance

I recently bought a set of dressing table storage drawers from Amazon for £27 (free delivery) which are identical to the ones that QVC are selling for £35 (plus £4 postage) and mine have three more drawers. I also did buy the three white headbands last year, to replace one that I had for over...

    Cozy Home Challenge

I bought my hubby a slanket a few years ago as he is always cold but it drives me nuts and I regret buying it. 😔 I am a bit of a tidy freak and having a great big slanket piled up in the corner of the room for half of the year upsets my OCD but he loves it and won’t let go of it. 😂😂😂

    KitchenAid TSV 27/10/21

I also have a Kenwood Chef that I’ve had for around 30 years. It gets used alot and is still like new. I did have my grandma’s very old one that I gave away when the ex-hubby bought me the one I now have. It was orange and would have been from the 1960’s and I now deeply regret giving it away ☹️

    Skechers TSV 23/10/21

Yes, I am a size 5 and do buy 5 in their boots and haven’t had a problem but have needed 4 and 4.5 in their trainers. Bit hit and miss with trainers so have stopped buying those. 👍
