    Anti-colour fading shampoo

must admit I've gone back to the cheaper brands of late too. I'd always avoided Pantene, but the new Keratin range in the black bottles (bit dearer than reg Pantene) has made my hair noticeably shinier. I had been using Wen, but the amount used meant it was not lasting long and to be honest...

This is a friendly thread. No bitching, deviant opinions or freedom of speech.

Often on in the background here too. It's introduced me to brands I'd not have tried. I can send stuff back (within reason) if I really hate it.

    Steam cream duo

adored Cosmetics to Go and their quirky products. Lush has never appealed to me in the same way.

    Yankee Candles TSV 15/5/14

That was my thought too. I also think they've tried to make it look too "posh" (and failed). If it'd been a jaunty spotty one or a Cath Kidston style vintage one, then maybe it'd been better. This reminds me of Eternal Beau crockery and Hyacinth Bucket!

I've never understood the removable dish issue really either. Although it's useful if you want to pop it in the freezer, I've never had a tart that when cold, won't pop out with a dinner knife either. Interesting about the new melts. Seems strange to have two sorts on the go - wonder if...

I agree. Not to my taste at all. I actually love vintage stuff, but this doesn't look like that - it just looks a bit naff! Interesting to see the new tarts (melts). Is this the end of the round one then? Or something different?

OPI disgraceful nails on your technician

I'm sure I've noticed that before and it was mentioned that she does a lot of gardening. Maybe a good nail brush or gloves might be an idea. Yuk'

    Debbie Flint The Novelist

Shocking! If you can't take criticism then don't put your "work" in the public domain! It's only vanity publishing anyway! I'm sure most proper publishers would give guidance on criticism, rather than allowing their authors to fly off the handle in this way. Maybe self publishing has caused...

    WEN Haircare TSV 27/4/14

Still undecided about Wen - it seems a bit if a love/hate thing. Some concerning stuff online if you google "WEN HAIR LOSS" though!

    WEN Haircare TSV 27/4/14

I've used Wen and rather went off it after a while as bizarrely despite all the rinsing, my ends started to feel rather dry. I'm using a new version something at the moment from the high street that many people may dismiss (I would too!) but I've had visible results and combined with the Steam...

    Foundation

I normally stay well clear of foundations on QVC. I have used and quite liked BM but have given up on it because however much I buff etc, it still feels drying on my skin. Estée Lauder Doublewear isn't bad, but can look a little cakey if applied too heavily. In a moment of madness I ordered...

Holster Paradise Jelly Flat Sandal with Toe Post & Ankle Strap OTO

Those closed in plastic (overpriced) ballet pumps must be SO SWEATY!! And just how many times have they mentioned Danni flippin Minogue??!!

    Has she lost it?

Oh she never ever misses the opportunity to flog her ****** trashy book! For heavens sake - it's just SHAMELESS!! Someone at QVC should have a word! She's getting worse with the hard sell anyway, but now she's off on the book flogging again, it's a real switch off.

Ecotan left me smelling like a mouldy HobNob. And it streaked.

    Big Hair 42mm

I'd been having the Keratin straightening over the past year and although it DID smooth it out, I still found myself washing and topping up with the straighteners every day. I won't knock it too much as I think it's helped me grow my hair from a pixie cut to a short bob. I think using the SP...

    Big Hair 42mm

Mine came from Look fantastic. It's taken a bit of getting used to, as it's quite bulky and has to be used in a certain direction. I've got it now though! I've gone from daily washing and straightening to washing twice a week with just a daily brief SteamPod top up. My hair already looks...

Philip Kingsley One More Day Dry Shampoo Duo OTO

Oh you can't beat Batiste!! It just works! Would never pay over the odds for a "posh" one as all they do is absorb oil to stop the hair going flat. Can't see how PK could justify the cost as I doubt it would add anything else to the hair. Love the tortoise comment!!

Amazed! Ordered mine at around 10pm on Sunday night and it arrived this morning!

there are special Steampod Products (a cream and a serum) which I have used, but I've not found them any better than my regular products to be honest.

To Tone Or Not To Tone .......

I'm a bit torn on this. I feel I really don't NEED one, from the point of view of removing excess cleanser etc, as I use a balm and a cloth (currently the Elemis one). I do love the feeling of using one though and really like the LE one (though gone off the range in general now) and I adore...
