What action should QVC bosses take re the "slapping" incident?

All employers will have something similar in their business however here are some excerpts from beauty professional organisation's code of conduct: As a member of FHT you must at all times: • Act in the best interests of your clients and treat them with respect • Take responsibility for your...

    Decleor TSV 23/1/11

The ingredients will have no effect on wrinkles at all...I mean.... fine lines! It's supposed to (apart from the repairing skin etc) improve the skin texture and smooth out imperfections. :sun:

    Decleor TSV 23/1/11

Prolagene's active ingredient is Proline which is an amino acid naturally found in the body. It's supposed to help repair the skin/heal wounds/scarring etc while the Osmanthus provides a firming/toning effect. You apply Prolagene after the aromessence and follow with moisturiser (if...

    Collagen creams branded a sham!

You've given me a good chuckle there! :giggle: You have a way with words! The reason that you may have a case of loose bowels is when the dose is too high for you. Some people can take up to 3000mg with no problems and some....well...you know! Everyone's tolerance is different, so if...

    Beauty Bash 27 January 11

The only time I have been was when they held it at QVC Towers in the reception area. Think it was only the second time they had held a New Year New You event. Not many beauty brands sold in the early days but remember Jill Goldsmith with Molton Brown, Andrew with Gatineau and Phytomer. Keeley...

Maybe not a good idea after all and on this occasion best to stay anonymous! :giggle:

What action should QVC bosses take re the "slapping" incident?

I thought it had an unfortunate title too! You'll have a great time. I went a long time ago and really enjoyed it. If it is being shown live then I expect all forumites attending to give us all a wave!

What action should QVC bosses take re the "slapping" incident?

Why am I now thinking that the Beauty Bash event is going to be something entirely different?

    Collagen creams branded a sham!

The PCMC contains Padina Pavonica, an algae that is supposed to stimulate glycosaminoglycans or GAG's (can sense some jokes appearing soon!!) which supports and maintains collagen and elastin but again it is at cell level and cannot see how it can penetrate the skin. Hyaluronic acid applied...

    Collagen creams branded a sham!

Topical collagen creams/gels have never been able to actively replace the collagen beneath the skin, they can only moisturise and plump the skin. The only thing that can help with collagen production in the body is Vitamin C. It cannot be made without it.

    Alison Young At It Again!

I don't think my sales rep or a client would like me to 'slap' their face (in a fun sense) even if I knew them really really well, think I would be reported pretty quickly! You are at work (friends or not) and are supposed to be professional at all times.

What action should QVC bosses take re the "slapping" incident?

If she is a member of a professional association or organisation for beauty therapists then she would have to follow their code of conduct/professional code of ethics. This sets the professional standard of behaviour. Therapists are supposed to act in a professional manner at all times towards...

    Question rejected!!

Another one to try is one that QVC used to sell years ago - Zoya Zoya Nail Polishes (Lacquers) are free of toxic Toluene, Formaldehyde and DBP and so are Urban Decay. http://www.nailcareclub.com/acatalog/polishes-and-topcoats.html

    Sorry to say..

This happens to me too so I tried using the one they had in the waiting room at the surgery (never used one before) and got anxious waiting for whatever was going to happen once my arm was in there... crikey jeepers!! (or words much stronger than that!) my reading went through the roof as it...

    Linwoods seed mixes

I'm a big fan of seeds as they provide an excellent source of Omega essential fatty acids (3,6 & 9), a good supplement if you don't eat oily fish often, they also provide protein, antioxidants and fibre. I usually sprinkle it on top of porridge, or fruit with muesli and yoghurt and then add some...

    help needed for peeling nails

LD's nail treatments are really good, the Hydra Flex and Bio Build especially because the ingredients and actions are proven. Crystal file's are really good too and give a lovely finish. Funnily enough I almost mentioned the Qtica cuticle repair balm (hated the smell though) and always...

    help needed for peeling nails

I’m sceptical about ProStrong as I can’t see how fluoride can help. Fluoride as we know is normally found in products for your teeth. The enamel of the tooth is made up of mineral substances and the nails are made up of a hard protein called keratin and does not contain any mineral substances...
