Today, I opened the LE Superskin Moisturiser and tried it for the first time. The smell was awful! It smells like fish oil. I bought it in July so too late to return it but I think it will have to be binned. LE stuff usually smells divine so I don't understand why this one doesn't.

Hi Piecan, I will give the Liquid Gold a good try as I have a bottle of the stuff but will certainly think about the salicylic acid if i don't get a result. Anything to get rid of the splodges!

Hi BB, I was astonished to get mine on Wednesday. It makes a change as I am usually the last to receive anything from QVC. It is rotten that yours hasn't arrived. How long does it take to slap an address label on something?

Thanks Philosophy Girl. It looks as though Liquid Gold is the answer and I have plenty of that. I have been using White Gold on the splodges, not Liquid Gold. I will attack them nightly for the next three weeks and see what happens. It would be lovely to see them fade!

That is helpful Piecan. I have a couple of brown marks - sunspots? - and I would like to fade or lose them. I am using White Gold but am getting impatient and thought I could target the marks with microdermabrasion. Sounds as though I would be wasting my money.

Just for you Rosylee, I hoiked myself out of my armchair to go and look! I only have a light in one of the holes - never noticed before as only one is facing me. Divine smell of one of Jo Malone's perfumes is wafting towards me. Lovely!
