    Well Done Julia !

The colour confusion thing is at its worst in the Kipling shows. Not only do they change the names Kipling has given the colours so you continually have the "If you want the blue, order the green" situation, but they give the same colour different names on different bags. This week the same...

Charlie Bears - fan or not?

Very interesting indeed, thanks Breeze. I've tried some of the things in the thread, but there are some I haven't. Have written it all down along with the suggestions I've been given here and I will work my way through the list. Will try one thing at a time so I can see what does or doesn't...

Charlie Bears - fan or not?

You're absolutely right May, she was scratching herself until she bled when we were using the "special" shampoo twice a week. So we stopped the bathing routine and now only bath her every three months. She still scratches and bites like crazy the day after though.

Charlie Bears - fan or not?

I found this in the village pet shop this morning, so she'll be having it for dinner tonight. Also bought some spinach and will try that for a few weeks if she'll eat it. Fingers crossed!

    Dyson hairdryer TSV soon?

Oh dear, Little Jan, I'm very glad it didn't work well if you were planning to toast beagles!

Well we've tried almost everything over the years, but I have to say I've never heard about liquidised spinach. I love spinach so you never know she might like it too! I'll get some spinach and give it a try, presumably it should be raw? The food allergy tests are all negative. She's very...

    A shocking discovery

Crikey! I think you need to lie down in a darkened room Strato. You have quite expensive taste, though, with an average item cost of £73.50. Average P&P was £4.11, but as we all know Q's P&P is ridiculous. It's a rude awakening when you see it like this though isn't it?!

    Chuntley

I don't find her false or saccharin. False is DF or JF, who'll say absolutely anything to make a sale. And saccharin is CS with her little girl voice and her "Mummy".

Charlie Bears - fan or not?

We did every allergy test going in the early years and everything came back negative. Have tried every diet under the sun to no avail. I bathe her every three months and I can't remember if I've ever used oatmeal shampoo but will try next time. I think everybody's come to the conclusion over...

The best piece of advice my father ever gave me was "Never care what other people think", so I'd tell her to be herself and not the person other people might tell her to be. I like her.

Charlie Bears - fan or not?

Thank you May, it's always good to hear other people's experiences. Bathing in special shampoo is the first thing that all the vets recommend, but not only is it a real pain because you have to do it twice a week, but it also didn't do any good and our doggy used to get really cheesed off. We...

Charlie Bears - fan or not?

Thank you very much for this Breeze. I haven't tried either of these so am going to look at both today. We've tried all the prescription meds and they make her vomit profusely and have little or no effect on her skin, so we took her off them. Have tried various alternative remedies to no...

    Chuntley

I don't think it's a question of CH competing with her daughter, I think it's just that nowadays women are not prepared to just be somebody's mother or somebody's wife. Just because they've had kids doesn't mean they're no longer attractive women with lives of their own, and they want to be...

    Royal Mail deliveries

I don't have trouble with the actual deliveries, both RM and Hermes deliver very quickly and both my courier and my postie leave my parcels in my safe place so they never get delayed. My gripe is the haphazard order in which Q processes our purchases. I find it infuriating when I purchase a...

Beauty Pick of the Month with Free P&P

My mum too, Sharon. She's 90 and has only ever used soap and water and, believe it or not has never used any kind of moisturiser. Says she doesn't like the feeling of "gloop" on her face. And she has lovely, fresh skin with very few wrinkles. She went into a care home last year and when I...

    Toothpaste for sensitive teeth.

Charlie Bears - fan or not?

One of my dogs wears 12 month old children's pyjamas when we're at home. She's a Westie and has terrible skin problems as so many Westies do. She's lost the fur on all four legs and I have to rub cream into the bare skin twice a day. If I don't cover her legs she licks all the cream off, and...

    Bank Holiday Boredom.

Linda Magistris has posted pics of the TSV on FB. Seems to be a mercury glass vase with faux hydrangeas.

    Bank Holiday Boredom.

You can't blame them, gardening is their biggest money earner and this bank holiday is one of the busiest gardening days of the year. I always thought beauty was their top earner, but I saw a rundown of their top 10 products a few days ago, and the top 5 were dominated by Richard Jackson's...

    Dyson hairdryer TSV soon?

Somebody asked about this on Facebook and they said there are no plans for QVC to sell it at present. There are videos of it on YouTube and it looks like a small version of the Dyson fan, circular with a hole through the middle, like a polo mint - and it doesn't even sound very quiet, so I'm not...
