I can't get over the wonky underside. Really says a lot about the quality control on a Glen Lehrer piece. Think Gems have let themselves down here. For those prices every piece should be absolutely perfect.

Well, I've frequently noticed the things I've bought have been cheaper in the week following than they were at the weekend. Now, whether this is true or just my imagination not noticing the reverse is open to debate. Anyone else care to comment? I could well be wrong. :hi:

I have a number of pieces from Gems TV. They are much better and much cheaper than QVC. Think other forum posters also have them.

Well, it did look thin. And with 18ct gold being much softer than the 9ct type I can only imagine what it will look like after a couple of wears. :sad:

3.55ct AAA Tanzanite & Diamond Lorique 18K Gold Ring - SQVJ98. Sold for £849, which is a great price. However, using 1.75g of gold is not good. It's so lightweight it will bend or snap. It is a knife edge design but does not need to be so thin. Poor show.

I think the point here is that most of us don't wear the same shoes day in, day out. :up:

Yes Sacha, I'm afraid you did miss out on some bargainous items. We also heard that Gavin now thinks there are 18 years of tanzanite mining left as they can now mine at much greater depths.

I've have several pieces of jelly opal from Gems and they are all absolutely lovely - much nicer than normal white opal. Get a few pieces home and see for yourself.

I can't check out at all now. I have to ring CS & get them to sell me something. However, I can add to the order, though it does crash every time I do it.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Meeshoo and Sacha. I find the whole idea confusing and agree that Gems.tv should stick with the standard system already in use. And have something on their web site if they are selling diamonds described this way.
