I agree Strato, probably nowadays tend to be bought by the sort of people that have their homes fashioned after the style of La Hoppen, bland, boring & everythng in threes! lol The lovers of this brand have always been somewhat fanatical about it, dunno why, never been anything particularly...

I use mine mainly for towels & bedding, it really helps in the winter to keep up with the washing, if you haven't got 10 tons of heavy items sitting out on the line for days at a time! lol

Miele do make some nice stuff, I have a fairly large Miele fridge/freezer & never had any issues with it! (Unlike previous Whirlpool ones, that always seemed to be running with water in the summer!) I really don't think I could bring myself to fork out 1800 quid on a tumble dryer however...
