Caroline, in my very humble opinion, has a very silly, put on, affected voice - LE herself is rather posh, being an admiral's daughter 'n' all & she doesn't talk like a twit! Personally I find her way of speaking incredibly irritating, (only kept out of top spot by even more irritating...

Yankee Candle Snowflake Scenterpiece with 6 Melt Cups OTO

Totally, snowflakes are cool & it's such a lovely red colour too, I wouldn't tire of that all winter! (I also started nomming on festive mince pies before the end of October, no way are they just for a week either side of Xmas either!) :mysmilie_852:

Liz Earle .... Is it all that good !

I like Liz Earle, it's a trusted fail safe to fall back on, in between maybe trying other brands for example & the core products remain (relatively! lol) the same! (For example, I loved a range M&S did......& then they did the usual M&S thing & it disappeared, so annoying!) LE is always there...

    Taya hair product

Ahh, good old QVC, bless 'em, they're still working to an out of date system where they could spout any old carp & read out on air the odd 5 star review on an otherwise fairly slated product, confident in the fact that dear old Ethel from Hull only has a telephone, not one of those new-fangled...

So pleased I went for this TSV, looking forward to using LE stuff again! Anyway, new fragrance sample was quite nice I thought but a bit too sweet for me - eldest DD pounced on it however & announced she loved it & wanted it for Xmas, which surprised me a little as she usually goes for heavier...

Cleanse & Polish / hot cloth cleansers. Do they work?

I've tried both the Superdrug ones - I especially like the Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser, (the toner that matches this is lovely too!), which is quite rich & smells perhaps more feminine, though not floral, whereas eldest DD, who has rather problem skin, prefers the Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth...

    why?

I just watched the vid of the 7 bird roast, (mentioned on another thread) & there were no less than four of them stood there......Dale, Andi thingy, little chefy bloke, (whatever his name is!) & the butcher person, or whatever he's supposed to be! They were practically bumping into & tripping...

    Is it over yet?

Oh that's a bit poo! (Not your decorating efforts obviously, I'm sure they're quite marvellous!) Maybe you could post pics in the Drop or something, I hate doing Xmas decos, I'd much rather admire somebody else's efforts! :mysmilie_852:

    Is it over yet?

I personally find that their 6 month 'run up to Christmas', constant jabbering on about 'gifting' & the endless stream of cheap tat 'Xmas must haves' actually have the opposite of the desired effect & reinforce that very thought, for me anyway! :mysmilie_61:

    Presenters' families

I'd rather hear about Lee's cat then Claire's Mummy any day......! :mysmilie_515:

New cooker - omg, why can't I follow my own advice?!?

Didn't have my glasses on in the shop but looking it up online the 370 quid was supposedly £110 off the TSP price, whatever that is! JL are asking £330, Boots £280 & Curry's £300.....hardly a bargain then! And they have no charm! Have since found out they're well known locally for their 'sale'...

14 Quid for mince pies? C'mon, that's ridiculous!

Ha! Success! OH just brought me home a pack of four gluten free ones from the dreaded high street.......for the princely sum of £1.......& they're delicious! :mysmilie_14:

New cooker - omg, why can't I follow my own advice?!?

Yeah, that's true Strato, I still haven't quite recovered from the nightmare saga of trying to return eldest DD's naff, constantly overheating to the point of non-functional Acer computer! :headbang: I will just have to suck it up I guess - worked out it will cost me £1.50 a week for a year...

Not a bad idea Polo, maybe they will - after all, LE herself was always wittering on about what a sexy scent the mens' body wash is!

New cooker - omg, why can't I follow my own advice?!?

Old cooker decided to conk out so needed a new one asap! Stupidly went to town & bought one I liked from a local shop, supposedly at 110 quid off, came home.......& found I could have bought it 40 quid cheaper from John Lewis & up to 90 cheaper at other places! Omg, I am so :mysmilie_51: at...

Totally agree but drawer space? It will end up cluttering up my bin space! :mysmilie_506:

    Liz Earle TSV 25/10/2015

Think I will go for this - bought some small sizes of LE on a whim the other day & remembered how much I actually liked it....& missed it! (Though I'm probably one of the few people that doesn't like & can't use, the Eyebright, why do they have to put a giant bottle of the wretched stuff in...

14 Quid for mince pies? C'mon, that's ridiculous!

By the time you add on the £5.95 p&p, it's nearer 20 quid!!! :mysmilie_466: I would love to try the gluten free ones, (mince pies are seriously nom!).......but not at that price! :mysmilie_478:

Oh how horrible, you poor thing! Re. the loo roll, get yourself some Nicky Elite, cheap as chips compared to the big brands & very thick & soft!

Attitudes by Renee Jacquard Knit Waterfall Cardigan TSV 22/10/15

Well let's hope Hiawatha wasn't standing waiting for the Hermes man to lob this particular TSV in the general direction of his wigwam - if he bought that cardigan/blankie as a surprise for Minnehaha I doubt she'd have been impressed & he'd have spent the next day trudging many miles off to the...
