That happened a few times to me. Usually Adina selling it and breathlessly exclaiming how it was at its lowest ever price, or an introductory price as a special one-off never to be repeated...and I'd bought it cheaper a week or two before!
I use these all the time and find them excellent. When my old 5kg washing machine broke and I traded up to a 10kg machine I had to buy extra balls and some replacement pellets on ebay so I use 2 balls each time. Mine are supposed to be jasmine but I find they don't scent the wash at all so I use...
I was at school late 70s and 80s and it was called Home Economics then. I remember the first lesson being about how to wash up properly. Yes, really! I also remember the teacher Mrs Clements showing us how to make cheese scones and she had dirt under her fingernails so when the scones were...
I laugh at it because Nationwide are such hypocrites...they make a huge deal about not shutting branches...straight after they'd already shut a load including my local one! And they care so much about their customers that, unlike 90% of other financial institutions, they won't let people pay in...
Thanks, I have looked on ebay and amazon but they either don't have the right fragrances for me, or the price at 12 quid I'm not willing to stump up as I was only paying £2.80 a pack! Thank you though, that was kind of you to post.
Lucky you! They're like gold dust now. I found the longest lasting ones were the coconut ones and the jasmine ones. They seemed to last way beyond the time on the packet. I never even saw them for sale in Boots or I'd have ..'erm..filled my boots!
I wish I could still buy the pre-scented sticks as they were brilliant in the bathroom and lasted for ages. Every time I see a yankee candle shop at an outlet centre or in a different town, I go in and ask and the sales assistants all say the same thing...that they loved them too and wished...
I received a couple of DMs and two emails. I saw the banners by other people's names, plus they said they'd asked me last year (I haven't bought from shopping telly for ages so hadn't posted in months) so I thought it may be legit.
You might want to get a Lori Greiner anti tarnish jewellery box. QVC used to do them but only in the USA now so you have to look on ebay for a bargain. They are a game changer. If pieces go in clean they stay clean. They actually do live up to the hype!
Yes, but if you are led to believe that it is a natural variation (from darker or lighter sap etc) and you like the colour then you aren't really trying to buy a dyed colour, like neon pink. After all, natural gemstones come in a variety of hues not a single shade. I'm not talking about a garish...
I bought their Amber a few years ago now, haven't seen the blue. I bought a green amber ring and a bracelet that had green, normal and a darker (cognac?) amber stone. They waxed lyrical at the time about each piece being individually made by Mother Nature and all unique etc. Never said they'd...
What! But they always rave on about them being totally natural. I took them at face value and bought from them. At least I still love my pieces, and it can't be just Gemporia who does this as I saw coloured Amber in Gdansk and on the cruise ship I was on (at 3 or 4 times the price)
