I think they are peddled as a lot more upmarket here than they are in the States, they are a bit of a basic range really. Darls tarts have far more fragrance and they are soy based too. I don't like the look of them either, all a bit old fashioned.

I am just wondering about all the Safeguard valuations people had done on these pieces. Is it very hard for a jewellery valuer to tell if a diamond is coated or do they just go on the certificate I assume you receive with each purchase ?

I don't believe a word about the alleged benefits of all the gloop on QVC. Sure most of it only works on surface level otherwise it would need a medical licence. Can't say I can ever trust someone who once extolled the virtues of that dreadful Genie rubbish she used to push.

I once got a parchment card off a forum member at Christmas, it was the skyline of either Bethlehem or Jerusalem, it was sooo beautiful it is wrapped up in tissue and I added a ribbon to seal it. I always keep my special handmade cards.

Have tried all the QVC brands, they make my nails more brittle if anything. I just massage some sweet almond oil into my nails and cuticles once a week and give my nails a few varnish free days a week.
