I certainly would not book a foreign holiday this year. I have no sympathy for those who have gone to France and are now having to quarantine when they come back. My daughters and grandchildren had dozens of holidays booked pre Covid but all have now received refunds.

We had the worst thunder and lightening storm I have ever seen in my 78years. It went on from a slow star about 10-30 pm and was still flashing at 4am. Spectacular but impossible to sleep as it was so hot as well and the rain was like a monsoon.

I bought a few things in the M&S sale this year. 2 pairs of loose fit trousers £9.50 each a lovely long length floaty, scrappy dress £9.50 and a couple of loose fit T shirts £6.50 each. All are good quality. I will not be buying any of the rubbish they sell on QVC as it is overpriced tat.
