    Random musings and general banter.

......sorry got interrupted.... Then there's the awful awful Suzi Iannnnous or whatever she is called, who actually and blatently tried the water / bouncy trick on the 'terrible' mattress, to which it stayed up no matter how much she did cartwheels on the bed, so she leant over and flicked the...

    Random musings and general banter.

Isn't it funny how even the guests they have on IW now appear charlatans too? The watch woman mentioned buying a watch for Valentines Day on a show saturday or sunday, and Loen (much to my shock) earned a modicum of my respect back; the charlatan watch woman said afterwards "is it too early to...

But....Denn swears by Linda Lusardi.......surely you are mistaken Momma, she wouldn't use anything else would she? :P

do they WANT ideal world to morph into bid?

Ideal World CLEARLY in my opinion, have very little regard for regular customers, in fact it appears they know they don't have regulars. On QVC you hear of people buying hundreds of items, and GemsTv people do multiple purchase, but how can that be with IW? Once you have a halogen oven...

    Random musings and general banter.

...and I doubt IW ever had any integrity either :P Just my personal opinion you understand, but having watched from the start of the channel, integrity is never a word I would use in the same year as mentioning Ideal World.

    Random musings and general banter.

With all due respect, IW presenters have never really fallen into the category of 'well respected'. The channel was always a joke with presenters prepared to say anything to get a sale, at least PS and Mike have brought some humour to add to the disgust :P When there was a choice between Ideal...

    Random musings and general banter.

Ah, did anyone else see it last night? We had the return of the "and now...LIve from Peterborough...." Peter Simon entrance. Good grief is he PAYING ideal world to let him take over? The 'love cuddle' will be back at any moment...... take cover folks :P Genuinely, I think it was the dimmed...

    Random musings and general banter.

Ah the wonderful Richard, how very amusing. With reference to the magic bows ... "You'll pay £3 or £4 in one of those card shops for a bow to put on a present". No, no I won't, only in your deluded shouty dreams, where anything you are selling IS actually a top selling toy this decade.

    Getting to know Peter Simon

Totally agree!! I heard him say yesterday he has had his old halogen oven for 3 years, the one with the lift off lid, but when he first presented the halogen he said he'd never seen anything like it and he has to use his big old oven...... Our Bet steals the duvet, then he has twin single beds...

    Random musings and general banter.

Random musing coming up : Just watching the POTD Pearl hair remover and remembering the reviews I read the last time it was POTD. This machine seems to rip the hell out of your legs and pretty much that's it, if the reviewers are to be believed. I remember yonks and yonks ago, when the orange...

Hayley Green, tw@ of the year? Most out of place sales angle?

Could genuniely not believe Hayley Green last night whilst listening to the EEPC heaters show. She was using..... wait for this...... the issue of people not being able to heat AND eat, to sell these radiators!!!!! Yes, she was clearly saying how some people have to choose to either heat or...

    Finally had enough!!

Laura had meningitis as a baby I believe, and she was brain damaged, so although she is 30+ she has a child-like brain.

    Finally had enough!!

Funny isn't it, Shaun said they are going like hot cakes; apparently not seeing as they are on every day at least twice :P Totally agree about Dennice, she makes me feel physically sick the way she uses her daughter's disability every single time she can, even just to see something coloured...

    Finally had enough!!

I've just submitted a complaint to the ASA about the Ipad hour now on (5pm). I have finally had enough of Ideal with their obfuscation and half finished inferences. Dennice, a couple of minutes past the hour, clearly stated about the 16GB version that you could "store loads of films and all...

    Linda Lusardi - Ultratherapy?!?

Aaah, the links between Ideal and Bid seem to never end.... Watched the video bit from the anti-ageing show and recognised one of the 'shoppers' trying and commenting on Lusardi. I knew I recognised her from somewhere and it bugged me and bugged me, but as is usual, about 4am this morning when...

Catherine Huntley in today's Daily Mirror

I totally agree, people are always quick to judge, there seems to be a sliding scale for what we can feel sorry for or be impressed by. My best mate had a female friend who, in everyone's opinion was stunningly beautiful. She was model looking, with a figure to die for and beautiful natural...

do they have to tell the truth?

Well here's one bit of the ASA code that might clear this up: 3.45 Testimonials or endorsements used in advertising must be genuine, unless they are obviously fictitious, and be supported by documentary evidence.

do they have to tell the truth?

Hmmm, methinks you have set me a challenge to find out!!!! Have-at-you :)

    Linda Lusardi - Ultratherapy?!?

Hmm, also just found out that Paul Wright, this boss of IW at the time, was involved in the whole Lusardi range, which I guess is why it's only sold on there and you cannot find the ingredients list for love nor money.
