The early warning system is working.ThanksFashion, Watches and Pillas tonight
I like the one where the priests get lost in the women's lingerie section of a department store. Priceless.I like the football episode where Mrs Doyle declares football is "just a load of men kicking a ball about". Father Ted gave her a book called Understanding Football for Women and she and all her cronies become obsessive experts
I always liked Father Jack who just sat in a corner swearing![]()
Yes, it was laugh out loud funny, and you don't see much on the box today that fits this description. All of the actors were perfect for the role they played.I did like it when Dougal always called Bishop Brennan Len. I also loved the married couple who used to curse and swear at each other, and we're always sweetness and light in front of the priests. A great series.![]()
Nothing wrong at all with going back and watching things you used to love as a child, I think it's good for us to go down Memory Lane and remind ourselves of things we loved and enjoyed as a kid, what we were doing at the time the programme was shown, etc.. I always watched Blue Peter in the early 60's (well before you did!) and learnt a lot from it. Used to watch it sometimes with my cousin, who was years older than me and at college. If I go to older TV, I tend to go back to Children’s TV Shows from my childhood. I admit I still watch the odd epsiode of Blue Peter the up to date stuff, I know it seems weird me nearly being 50, But got told it’s a common trait, to sometimes feel more child like.
Saying that Blue Peter in 2025 has become so dumbed down and no budget
In other words, no different to the usual...Peter Simon looks really quite confused in that photo, like he's not sure where he is, or what he's supposed to be doing.
I think she needs some looking after, given her dinner is kiwi fruits, slices of melon, tomatoes and a glass of wine. Has Wiltshire Farm Foods gone rogue on her?Luckily Muriel is alert and on hand to warn them when ‘our hero’ is on with said watches

Anyone remember Tales from Europe, particularly The Singing Ringing Tree? It used to scare the living daylights out of me.Nothing wrong at all with going back and watching things you used to love as a child, I think it's good for us to go down Memory Lane and remind ourselves of things we loved and enjoyed as a kid, what we were doing at the time the programme was shown, etc.. No, doesn't ring a bell.Anyone remember Tales from Europe, particularly The Singing Ringing Tree? It used to scare the living daylights out of me.
You would be much too young for it, it first aired in 1964, and was repeated for a few years afterwards. It was made in East Germany, and I remember children being traumatised by it at the time. If you saw it now, you would probably laugh. No, doesn't ring a bell.
