I bet Lance Corporal Knowles could tell some stories about that place and some of the strange people who work there. Not that he’s going to.

Oh… his fib punishment chronic cough has hit him again…Er…may hit him again… Blimey…I’ve seen better legs on a Chesterfield in a skip. WE CAN ONLY DO THIS FOR A 24 HOUR PERIOD….Until the next 24 hour period….

Has that woman been inhaling helium? Makes Jacks sound like a nun from a silent order with laryngitis. Are all the fitness experts called Kelly?

It's going to go up to £349 said Pedro. I own the Orbitrek version, and that was £249. I think I've used it twice, but then I'm just lazy. His GP, Dr Tom has been his doctor for over 50 years he said. That would make him mid seventies at least, he should have retired years ago. His core should be rock solid after 15 years of vibration training. Lie after lie, what a despicable individual.

He said someone emailed/texted in saying they'd been charged £57 for a zip to be fixed or redone in some way. 'Buy this, do it yourself' he says. One, I would assume doing a zip takes a degree of skill? Two, the thing was wobbling about all over the place! Surely it's at risk of falling over unless being used for small work with light material? I know feck all about sewing, however surely trying to feed larger/heavier material through that toy would be nigh on impossible?
Putting in a zip does take a lot of skill. My mum can make her own clothes and makes her own curtains. I can just about sew on a button. Pedro telling Jackanory tales about get this mini sewing machine and put in your own zip. What a tool

Caught some classic Dirty Peter at the start of his stint - flogging an extendable window cleaner.

It was all about Muriel texting to say she had dirt fun with a pole - and Pedro saying she loves a big head, then leering at the camera and doing that thing with his tongue in cheek.
He lots a filthy double entendre, alright, ok, as I say, and again, not only.

Virtually everything he says contradicts with itself depending on what the product is and when. That chronic cough is at least some punishment from above, you feel. He should keep a log of what fantasy he recounts to remind himself aware of what his version of the truth means for each show. But clearly he can’t be arsed to. I mean…why should he?? No penalties for people like him. He can say whatever he likes, as long as he doesn’t mention Poland.

They are very crafty and they know exactly what they're doing. Caught a presenter last night (flogging bags at £19.99) saying this:

Louis Vuitton do a bag similar to this. I'm not comparing them, okay, just saying ...

It might not have been that brand but you get my point. By wording a sentence this way, you are indirectly suggesting the cheap bag is like the expensive bag. Planting the seed so to speak.

And it's weird how Alex says they can't put the names of other retailers up when comparing prices and that agreement with the retailers would need to be secured first. Shop on TV do it. So have we to assume they (Shop on TV) have secured said agreements but IW can't be ar5ed to do so? I would have thought (maybe wrongly) if you put factual prices up and the date they were obtained, there's very little other retailers could do to complain?

The former Ideal World regularly used sourced direct price comparisons. They would use a saucepans one, and have say, three or four other retailers and their own price. Obviously, they would come out overall as cheapest but not by ridiculous amounts. Also, the former station never used the not a direct comparison method, which these *** merchants use all the time. I think the excuse Knowles gives (which presumably they give him) for why they are stalling on it doing it correctly, is just that - an excuse. The 'this cheap and nasty plastic cane looks just like a Rolex watch - but I am not comparing them' is another despicable tactic of theirs.

We talk a lot here about IW3 becoming more and more like BidTV. Well, I've just seen a presentation for Fabulift by none other than...Peter Sherlock.

What with Andy Hodgson on TJC, has Vaibhav Global now employed all of Sit-Up Ltd (Bid tv)'s previous employees, minus Carmel?

Someone needs to remind Vaibhav of Einstein's dictum that "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results".

"(IW Presenter)": I'm not making any claims about these magic beans supplements, but my friend/mum/sister took them regularly and she got the all clear from the oncologist last week. Just sayin..."

A matter of time.

Just caught a bit of the stepper on the morning presentation - Lindsay said it will go back up to £159 ish - not the over inflated crap Pedro was spouting. Lying f**ker

You can well understand why they’re not keen on price comparisons with any traceability factor provided. They are continually more expensive than other retailers on the few well known names goods (batteries, for example) they offer for sale. Whereas the previous version often had good deals on branded goods with some kudos attached to them. The current one, in the main, is selling unbranded goods or their own brand items, so low rent and in-house is their mantra. I wouldn’t expect them ever to change their current stance on price comparisons - direct or otherwise.

It's kind of a reverse price comparison. Whereas anyone else would say "You can buy from us and it's less expensive", here they are basically saying "You can buy from other people and it's more expensive". Granted, they are casually tossing in the caveat of "but it's not the same item" and you can see the logic but quite disingenuous all the same.

It's a bit like if Sports Direct did price comparisons, you're almost guaranteed to find a better, longer lasting version of any item in their inventory somewhere else. But it won't be cheaper.

At IW2 (Hamish Version) we started selling Karrimor puffers that looked almost identical to the black North Face jacket that any girl who's been to secondary school in the last three years has (I was wearing one in 2001, ha). Ours was £69.99 but the North Face one is £300+ and I was told that they didn't like making that sort of comparison because 'Karrimor is a quality brand'. Guess what, I've only ever seen the Karrimor one worn inside Ideal World's studio...!

Peter Volauvent's latest scare tactic is an ultraviolet torch that he claims show hidden dirt and bacteria that he, naturally, breaks down with a Homesmart steamer.
It looks just like the 'national grid" vacuum, i.e. useless tat.

Pedro should get one to strengthen his core - leaning over a cooker scrubbing away would do more good than him sitting on a machine that move his feet.
