He drapes his wet washing over his oven (Aga) and the bannister. He'll be telling us he does his laundry in the yard next with a poss tub and a mangle. I haven't won the lottery, Peter, and I use my tumble drier twice a week. £1.35 each time, according to of the Masons. I bet he does too.

My heated airer with wings also has 8 bars, and each wing has 5 smaller bars. It costs me 5p per hour to run, so I'm not sure where he's coming up with the 1p per hour rate to run this heated airer.

120W is about 3p a hour.
As yours has more bars probably rated about 200W. So 5p an hour makes sense. A kwh costs about 25p currently.
The 1p an hour he was saying is absolute bollocks.

Was just having a quick look up here, 3 bedrooms but only one en-suite but does have a second bathroom, only £1200 a month. Thank god i don't have to rent.
