Why hasn't someone come forward and massaged her throat with Emu Balm?

Remember it cures all known ailments - not only Mike of the Moron's policeman's heel, not only Foghorn's husband's aching elbows, not only Dirty Pedro's throbbing chesnuts.

It got Herself back on air within ten minutes after collapsing with a migraine.

Go on IW, test it for real.
I really don't want to think about Pedro's throbbing chesnuts😳

No current Christmas television for me. I rarely if ever watch mainstream TV these days unless my partner is around. I cannot abide 95% of it. It depresses me, essentially. When TV used to be funny, or thought-provoking or just good, I’d watch like everybody else. But I cannot stand the overt political correctness underpinning all of it - from commercials to actual TV shows. One set of previous wrongs replaced by another set. If I watch anything at all, it will be Christmas shows and films of the past, when Christmas on the telly was so much better.
I've got some Morecambe and Wise DVDs, I think I'll watch the Christmas ones.

Will be interesting to see if Captain Knowles can resist coming out with "how many left, Charlie? Ok, you need to quick, we're exceptionally busy on the phones. The black is selling fastest but the green is catching up. I bought this one myself and it I wouldn't be without it - it helped my 'insert illness/ailment/household problem".

I actually prefer to think he is deluded and ill-informed enough to think he is giving out correct sales information. I couldn’t bear to think he was knowingly misleading people naive enough to consider buying.
I don't watch much of Yiannis's shows manly because I go to bed fairly early and I've seen him on around 10pm. However when I have seen him he appears wide eyed and speaks like he's addressing a class of 5 year olds. Usual nonsense price comparisons and trying to convince his audience that the products are very, very, very good.

However it appeared that the other night he was acting differently. I didn't see any myself so can't define what it was. Desperation? More aggressive sales tactics? All I know was that people on here commented that they had never seen him like that. And of course mentioning the forum. Why would he do that? If the public is happy buying from IW they would not be researching them. I'm surprised he didn't mention Trustpilot, there's some brilliant negative comments on there too.

You have to ask what caused him to change his tone overnight? Maybe he's not reaching sales targets and facing a penalty (they might be on commission). Can't imagine he'll be facing the sack as there's very few presenters.

Thanks Jazzy - will do my best, let’s see, I’m just holding the fort but good to try something new. We’ll see how it goes. 😊👍
I thought it only fair to promote you to Group Captain, for services rendered.
One thing though, when you come on presenting, please don't big up the quality of the stuff, otherwise it just makes a mockery of your claim to be honest and truthful.

My dad used to have to work Christmas Day every other year when I was a child, it's not fun.
My Dad worked shifts, so worked every Christmas, six till 2, two till ten or nights. If his relief didn't show up, he had to work a double shift. He worked in a control room of a chemical plant, so not manual work, but still not nice at Christmas.

Strictly, Midwife, Wallace and Gromit, Gavin and Stacey, EastEnders and Mrs Brown's Boys. Will have to record them, as we have visitors late afternoon.
Will spend for Christmas with my sister. Will record Strictly, Wallace and Gromit and The Piano. BBC1 has nothing else on Christmas Day that I like. BBC2 has better offerings for my taste, Swan Lake, Some like it hot, North by Northwest.

Over the years both of my parents worked on a Christmas Day, it’s not that uncommon

Mum worked in a hotel, Dad and me used to sort out chrimbo dinner for her
