The Emma Hardie balm is excellent Cashers but it's expensive. I usually wait till Black Friday and cross my fingers that I can get a good price on it.
The Aldi version is really, really good as well but I'm not sure if it's a regular stocked item though, but it's definitely worth keeping a look out.
And The Body Shop Chamomile balm is really very good too.
Thanks Mr M. Yes, it is expensive, I use the brilliance oil and love it so I'm sure the balm is just as good. May get the 50ml size! I'll look out for the Aldibbalm, I use quite a bit of their skincare and find it excellent quality.

I rate the LE balm over the Emma Hardie which I didn’t like at all.
Aldi’s is the best but it’s a special buy and you have to grab them when you can
Thanks Claire, I'll have to get to boots and have a look at the LE.

… I do however recommend the Boots No7 cleansing balm … currently £11.95 for a 125ml pot and again on 3 for 2 (as No7 seems permanently to be but not complaining!). Actually, they keep changing their ranges - the one I had was Radiant Results but the one here sounds similar and gets excellent reviews if my opinion means nothing after what I said about cleansers generally!

I’ll check it out in Boots later but it was a whiteish cream which was slightly oily but not as thick and greasy as I find Elemis and Emma Hardie, for example. It didn’t smell as strong either, just clean and pleasant (smells are important to me).
PS As it says at the top of the page in the link, you can also get 15% off if you use code SAVE15. So if you bought three, they would work out just £6.77 each - Billy bargain!

I never hear anyone here mention The Ordinary but I really rate this range and so affordable.😊
I often look at their stuff, Lynn. I have a few things and like them, too.

Have you seen this Star Gift in Boots?

I remember we had a busy thread on here about the founder (or one of the founders) of The Ordinary and Deciem a few years ago. Brandon Truaxe - he became paranoid about his colleagues and the business, went on long rants and ended up taking his own life. All very sad.

That's it, I'm going for the Liz Earle!! Bargain, and I've got £39 on my Advantage card.

I'm currently using their Hylaronic acid and their Niacimide serum after cleansing in the morning. My son and his partner are complete concerts and swear by the results for such little costs. Years ago QVC sold it for a while, I bought some good kits . You can't bear their prices but with such a wide range of products I get confused as to what Does what!

Thanks SCW!

I am definitely not getting this one!
I really am finished with Elemis after the old stock saga, and just as well as their prices are out of my budget.
£64 for 30mls of PCMC….. and £29 for a toner.. no way!
And I don’t like their body products.
The only thing I would really consider is the Marine Mask which lasts forever and is superb.
Oh dear very boring TSV! Feeling glad I got the Liz Earle now 😊 I agree the only product in there that's worth using is the Marine Mask, one of my favs, but I'm stocked up!

Yes, absolutely I agree with you both in this. The green one is that lime one possibly. Either way I have seen better TSV’s at other points in the year.

I have also not seen my fave - ultra rich cream - in a long while in a TSV.

This is a definite skip for me 😊

I don’t know if they still do it but the Ordinary Caffeine eye serum is pretty good. It reduced the dark circles under my eyes.

That is included in the set that Boots are selling (see my last post above).
Yes I’ve seen the boots star buy will order today, if you are on Instagram Nadine Baggott has a review of the new store that’s opened in Covent Garden, she talks about the products and for the money they are brilliant.

They are good!

Aanother affordable one is Inkey List, they have a moisturiser I love!!! Byoma is also worth a look.
Yes Sazza I also like the Inkey list and Byoma, 😊

He he he he, someone's been shopping in Boots. I got the Ordinary star buy set, a Garner hydration set with the micellar water which I like and some body and hand hydration cream/food for a couple of quid. Free delivery, all in around £45. No one I know likes Elemis so TSVs have to be all things I like and I don't like their body products so it would have been poor value. Can't wait to get the new goodies from Boots and try them out. Thanks for recommendations.

I got a sample of the Vanilla Orchid body butter this morning in the post from QVC. I don't think that has ever happened before. Must be getting desperate. I won't be buying it. Total Rip off.
I did like the cleansing balm but not anymore after trying the Liz Earle Superskin balm, it is far superior.
