Peter should have read the company's website: https://uk.tokit.com/pages/about-us...pMagYvJ3lPkoPwurbJsqATNYUtoSZYa0aAhYHEALw_wcB

They appear to be a company that started out with crowdfunding products on Kickstarter

How interesting.

Tokit have a Union Jack in their logo, and video clips with British people. They won a British design award too! Y'know, the award you pay to be shortlisted for... Nice. And using Kickstarter to get started? Yay for the little guy…

Oh, wait… Tokit is owned by Chunmi Technology, a Chinese company...

"Chunmi Technology, leveraging internet-based kitchen appliances, is a pioneer in the tech-driven kitchen ecosystem for the future. Joining the Xiaomi Ecological Chain in 2014. In 2021, Chunmi expanded globally with its own brands, TOKIT and Joyami, aiming to establish a collaborative international smart kitchen ecosystem."

And a Xiaomi connection too? Sweet. One of the biggest Chinese technology brands that absolutely has no links to the Chinese government, and is absolutely not subsidised by it. It's simply able to sell cheap electronics 2x below the cost of western competitors because… it's better at efficiency.

Although this air-fryer doesn't, the fact Tokit flog more Chinese electronics for people's homes that connect to the internet is great. No ulterior motivation for that *cough*Huawei*cough*.

Ted Rodgers presenting, yeah, me neither🤣
A European lift - Spanish TV show originally? I’ve not Googled to check.

Ponderous and stone-faced (for the viewer) quiz. It seemed to go on for ever per show. Red Todgers was painfully unfunny. And that bl oody bin…Where the format should have gone and stayed.

I seem to recall the late Janice Long was a contestant on it in the early days of the show.

I still have the 3-2-1 boardgame, not very good either

As a Kid always found 321 strange, as I never understood the clues

So sorry you didn't win tonight's star prize, here's the clue again for our audience and the viewers at home ...

My first is in alphabet but not in having a bet.
If going on holiday, you might need a jet.
If you twirl me I spin but careful not too fast.
Keep me don't lose me or you could come last.
All things considered I'm surely a catch.
You must choose me, your very best match.

Anyone? Anyone?? What about you at home???

That's right, it's a his and hers personal chiropody set!!!

Flogging some cheapo scent, reminds him of Tommy Hilfinger! The world launch of Vostok South Pole tonight. A quick look at Kevski's website and they are readily available. I've got that I can barely watch him now, as he is such a liar, and he is mumbling and mixing up his words more and more. I used to find him amusing.

Well who’d have thought? It’s the Non-Carnival clearance…at the same prices!
I’ve been duped!!
“The little tinkers “say Muriel,Maude,Agnes et al under their breath..”they’ve just made a mistake”.. bless ‘em
For some reason I envisage Muriel, Maude and Agnes as Ena Sharples, Martha Longhurst and Minnie Caldwell in the Rivers Return drinking milk stout. Mind you I doubt that they would be taken in by the selling techniques used by IW3.

Just turned over, Pedro says collagen changed his life. How exactly? He has had the same bald patch and receding hairline for years, and his nails are covered in veneers and varnish. He is a vain, silly, ageing man.
A vain, silly, ageing man who lives in a hovel. Apparently. At least he does when it suits him to make a sale.
