Predictable overnight Jade re-runs. Shouldn't be surprised but was quite angry at this comparison.

DT: Here's my icy black jade earrings (in gold tone) for £199. And here's my price comparison piece for £345,000 +/-. No clocks, no gimmicks, straight to the price.

Ellis: OMG! £345,000 and look what you're offering for £199.

Not direct quotations but the giste.

You expect this sort of ridiculous schtick from DT. He's a salesman. But for Ellis to not even say something like "It's beautiful, not the same as our earrings, just the same material"?! Why bother having her on at all if she's just going to bootlick the BS and not actually communicate anything back to the viewer. She's just totally redundant.

(The carving is from a single piece of untreated rock, depicting two bears catching leaping salmon, set on a cast stand of over 1.2kg Sterling silver. In my opinion, it's an absolute stunner.)

I've noticed her daughter Millie is getting just like her, waffling on about nothing and stopping mid sentence when she realises she's talking about something else completely

What is the Ellis Ward Game of Trust? why is any different to any presenter saying "this will go under 20 parnd" .....there is no game...she tells you what the price is...a game of trust would be "...walk on that electric wire...but trust me , it is switched off" that is an example..not the tosh Ward comes out with..who on another channel questioned what a placket was and then used the word like confetti afterwards as tho she was the teacher.

The reason Ellis is on Gems is to pay homage to the great DT, like the rest of them, hanging on his every word, and telling us, the viewers, how lucky we are to have him. Yet you had the audacity to call him a Salesman!! Oh dear, there will be some weeping & grinding of teeth over that remark, in Gemporia Towers! 🤣

What is the Ellis Ward Game of Trust?
It's for the gullible to think she's super trustworthy. After all, she's their friend because she comes across as all mumsy and sings 'Holla my chockolinos" to them.

This is the same Ellis Ward that had a complaint upheld by the ASA for selling a Tanzanite ring at a "mistake" price of £79.99p that she urged everyone to "buy quick before it's sold out" - despite it being on the website at full price for £57.99p at the very same time...........

Very trustworthy................

Oh, hi Ellis. We know you like to read this forum :D
