I can’t help wondering what on earth is the point of Michael Perry?
Whatever he’s on he always seems to have his backside permanently welded to the chair and just sits there looking smug, throwing in the odd comment whilst the BA and presenter do all the actual work.

And he guffaws too much. I've heard some half-baked ideas from him as well. He says things like, "When the plants get established you'll get lots of blossoms.". What he leaves out is that the plants will take about 3 years to get established.

Totally agree with you, watched a bit this morning and his only contribution the whole time I watched was to say the plants in question that they were flogging was the same shade as on his shirt!! Wow.

His show is the worst for me, he brings nothing new to The show.
 
I think these comments are very unfair. He's there to provide respite to men like myself who like to watch QVC, but are sick to death of hour after hour of women's clothes and jewellery.

I didn't even realise it was a gardening show, I was so zoned out and zoned in on this chunk of eye candy. I want more of same ...... if this is what you're selling', I'm buyin'

Isn't that what Richard Jackson's for? I bet he gets loads of fan mail from older ladies - and a few pairs of granny pants!

Yes, that’s exactly what happens, he does little to nothing on every show. Someone said eye candy!!! Are they blind? I digress, my real question is does he know anything about gardening?

Now now Misty, that's a tad harsh lol. I quite like Michael but he did go through a stage where he was quite rude to some of the guests and also not very complimentary about some of the products. He has improved though and I do think he knows something about gardening. He knows his agapanthus from his delphiniums.

I think he does! I just don't know how much! He seems more into the gadget side of things, and there are always 3 of them! How many does it take to talk about a garden light or a grumpy gardener item.

Not, I am not blind. As I said, he was massive with the ladies going by QVC Facebook. QVC are not stupid, keep him and know the fan girls will be tuning in to buy.

Okay, Michael, just tell them this is brilliant for your garden and they will buy it. From the higher ups at QVC.
 
There is a well known hunk, UK actor, not going to mention his name. But he married the vicar of Dibley on the show.

Women drool over him and he does some sexy steamy series.

Some years back on a forum a woman started raving about him and others joined in. A woman said Er, my brother went to uni with him years back and actor has been with his male partner for years. He has never come out and kept his private life to himself, which he is entitled to do. Yes, women still drool and fantasize about him.

I think he "came out" publicly couple of years ago.
