Is it just me folks - just watching the last bit of the QVC awards !! Is it fixed?? Dyson, Liz Earle, Elemis and of course Ms Cleeve- all winners, surprise surprise. Not. And to top it off, the most boring of TSV from PK. ( not even going to mention what does Allison Young look like!!)
 
CET awards show on now presented by Creepy Charlie and AY who looks as if she’s borrowed her outfit from a scarecrow.

As predicted Liz Earle C&P, Philip Kingsley Elasticiser, Gayle Hayman Liplift, OPI Nail Envy ,Dyson hair straightener, Laura Geller Balance n Brighten, Cleavers Uktrasun & Elemis PCMC all won. And no I didn’t watch it, just played it back from paused. I’ll save this as probably it’ll be the same winners next year.

Oh to think I missed the most presteeegeeous event in the world's beauty calendar. I expect industry moguls will have been quaking in their boots awaiting the results, not to mention the Internationally Renowned, Industry Revered, Five Star, A-Rated Beauty Expert's annual endorsements, hoping beyond hope she'd bestow her approval on one of their products, thus sending their shares skyrocketing. I'll have to buy all the leading, glossy mags to see the photos and write-ups on it.
 
I saw about 5 minutes.It is the same old because that is the majority of what they sell.The days of sell outs and quick to the phones are as we know are long gone.They must have a faithful following who can’t or won’t look elsewhere but take the time & bother to ‘vote’.Complete waste of time, B&B reviews are not good, a nearly £400 hairdryer & if I hear PCMC again!! p.s Alison look in the mirror.
 
I thought it used to be a much more glam affair, and they got all the BAs backstage to drink 'champagne' (i.e. warm, flat prosecco) in a decked-out 'green room' - all filmed looking bored being excited to see who had won what. Yesterday looked a bit like a tombola at a village fête, where someone had dragged the scarecrow off a nearby field and got it to present the awards. Very low rent for the Q!
 
Yes, I remember one years ago. One of the guests out the back, was wearing a short fitted dress. As the evening wore on, the dress crept up higher and higher as she became ever more 'merry'.
She was a tall lady who I think presented those pillow spray things, don't think she was ever seen again :ROFLMAO:
