Eclectic Garden Decorations Show this morning…

I don't think I've actually sat down and watched Ideal World for about a month now. I do dip in to the YouTube channel for a minute or so if I see comments on here about something that I want to go look at (and the YT stream lets you go back to any point during the past 12 hours, which helps with that).

But yeah… I feel a bit of a charlatan being in this thread now.

I used to have IW2 on as background noise a lot while I was doing other stuff (working on my laptop on the sofa, etc), but I've found IW3… too repetitive and borderline hysterical. IW2 had a main presenter and a variety of guest presenters and sometimes models or other participants (like the mute hunks on treadmills or vibraplates). The "conversation" was at least 2 way, there was laughter, a mix of voices, room for slip ups and general amusing stuff… And the products changed every hour, and often so did the presenters.

But 3 hours of wall-to-wall tat with Dr Edwards patronising the proles into buying DuChumps, a 4-pack of biros, and a 0.5 metre washing line, etc. Nah.

These days I stick on Talking Pictures TV instead.

I know what you mean, it's the same for a lot (most?) of us.

We pop back to check if things are the same and they always are. Cheap tat or overpriced items (those £100 squashy pump up chairs) exaggerated claims, rambling, shambling presentations it's the Selly Telly version of Acon Antiques (viz Victoria Wood). I don't think any of us seriously expect IW to change up to the day it is taken off air.

Keep posting, Herring, do. Your posts are very much appreciated.. I’ve just checked the channel that you mentioned and it’s got some fantastic quirky stuff on it - Out of Town on today with HOW’s Jack Hargreaves.

Thanks Duke, and I really do get such a good laugh from the observations and nicknames and photoshops and even the off-topic talks about things. I've learnt far more about watches and watchmaking from posters on here than I did from the 'experts' at Ideal World!

I've been out all day and spotted a woman with a huge bottom, no fat shaming here as she was a slim woman. It looked like she had 2 footballs down the back of her very tight leggings😵‍💫

I imagine it's what they call a Brazilian Butt Lift. Sadly I got a very good view of it as she was ahead of me going up the escalator in Primark!

Just wondered if Natalia has been offering this service🤔

I dip in and out. If I am alone at home, I generally have it on as background noise. But not at all if Jacks or the other gobby one is on. If my partner is here or I there, I rarely see it at all. Simon is appallingly compulsive viewing. I always hope he will at some point do a Peter Finch in Network and implode on air, weeping. Mason I also watch for similar reasons of car crash TV. Though, I cannot see him having a nervous breakdown during a show.

She was misled on a holiday to Turkey and had two footballs inserted into her upper cheeks.

I watched Captain Scarlet yesterday!
