I just randomly pick what I want to vote for.

Well, have actually voted for first time ever.
I don’t use any skincare (ABC tea tree wash aside) or hair products from Q and don’t buy make up from them any more so nothing to interest me……BUT I love the TILI lay flat bag, so I’ve voted for that.
It’s currently residing on the shelf in our holiday hotel room, make up in one side and toiletry bits and bobs in other side and everything where I can see it.

I only voted for the four items that I’ve used. I left the rest of the categories blank. It’s probably a waste of time anyway because the same old brands usually win.

I've heard that these type of awards are paid for by the brands. ie they pay to win. That would explain a lot.

A. Youngs chance to show her ozympic (sp) is working in some new frock.

Why doesn't Q sell Ozempic? Their sales would go through the roof. (not really).

If they could, I'm sure they would! But semaglutide is medication and I expect it's even more of a legal minefield than their flirtation with CBD products would have been.

It was a bit of a joke post but I'm sure someone at QVC has looked into it

I wondered when this annual event was next due. I expect they'll be dusiting off the plastic patio furniture for the BAs to sit and sip warm lambrussco while they wait, on tenterhooks to find out if they've won before gasping in surprise if they have, or clapping with a fake smile if it goes to someone else.

The should offer their "lucky viewers" the chance to win tickets for the event, and sit there in their finest, among the great and the good.

I admit I go through the lists in each category and even if I never use vote for the ones against the ones win every year.

I, too, believe there's a fiddle going on. I just hope Gail Heyman's 'Liplift' with the crappy scarf doesn't win. Apart from it being a total ripoff, the geezer who presents it - "John" is the spookiest person on QVC. (PS. It may work for chapped lips, but it does zero lip lift)

Tova cosmetics was bought over by QVC years ago. So they fiddle with a perfume and relaunch, of course they will put it in any category they can.

That is the thing, if a brand is named for the original owner, and they sell they have sold their name as well. Bobbi Brown has been owned by Estée Lauder for must be 20 years now. She said when she sold, it was her name for the brand she also sold. Jo Malone again an EL brand for years so most of the perfume released are from different noses Jo sold the rights signed a non compete for so many years. She then started Jo Loves, which is her own brand now. Jo Malone is a big cash cow for EL, that is why they don't need to sell on QVC.

The big one in recent years was Charlotte Tilbury, the bidding war was massive. EL, O'L'Oréal etc all involved, and it was an investment company who won it out. There is no as far as I know actual amount they paid, but the other companies had to drop out as the price went so high.

I thought I was the only one that did this. Nice to know I’m not alone. There are two products on the lists that I use regularly. As you go through the categories you just know who’s going to win and they’re usually products I really don’t like.

Those two are bound to be winners

I like the Liplift. It really does help chapped lips and keep them soft. But I've used it for years and my lips are definitely not lifted.

The flat lay bag is genius. So much easier to use than digging around in a traditional shape bag. I've had the original Flat Lay, the Tili and an Amazon knockoff. There's a difference in them all but if you don't want the extra bells and whistles a £6 version on Amazon does the job.
