Fingers crossed smarmy Lee isn’t the BA. Just switched on Style and he’s on for to two hours with Pippa. Two seconds on my TV and switched channels.

Ooh, looking forward to seeing the pics.
Nice that those of us with hands like shovels may be able to have a bangle that we can actually get on….

Turned on to watch, saw who was presenting and BA (Jill Franks and Smarmy Lee) . Rapidly changed channels. I’d set it to record at midnight but I’ve now cancelled it.
Don’t usually like their stainless steel offerings but as these come in larger sizes, I could have been tempted but not with him.

I've never seen him before, I thought he was a new presenter, he certainly acts like one, very familiar.

Saves me money when she is on swiftly switch off.

He used to be a presenter on QVC. I think he’s been a presenter on most of the shopping channels at one time or another. Don’t mind Jill too much but I put him in the same box as Mr Insincerity Biagi and Mrs Insincerity Eyelid Naanbread.

Me too, can't abide Jill for more then a couple of seconds and he just tops it off. So I would probably have been tempted, as I often am if I actually watch the show, but now I can resist quite easily just looking at the items online. I caught the end of the hour this morning and it sounds like one or other of them are on all day. That'll be me not trying to catch up with it then.

Platinum to gold to silver to stainless Steel... what next ? to copper to brass to... plastic then plasticine ?
Nope, for me stainless steel smacks of cheapness because they can't afford to use silver
I agree but in this instance I think the whole set looks cheap possibly the bangle alone would look ok but the other two bits look like something you'd find in a Christmas cracker or a jamboree bag! Definitely doesn't look £40's worth and if you were to pay full price it would amount to nearly £70 and I'm pretty sure you could get a proper nice item of jewellery for that amount. I'm staggered that people are flocking to pay so much for this bunch of tat!
I quite liked the look of the 30 year anniversary pieces with the lotus flower setting, proper sterling silver and good sized stones.

They did a similar set as TSV some time ago & I don’t know what possessed me but I ordered. It was promptly returned , they looked clumsy and I don’t like stainless steel, there was nothing remotely believable about them.

Diamonique loses its ‘clout’ when demoted to just fashion jewellery.
Spot on! Looking at some of Brenda Edward's monstrosities, they remind me of when Avon started doing Jewellery back in the 70's which mainly consisted of knuckle duster rings made from base metal, and other similarly clumsy looking pieces usually set with very obviously fake rhinestones. I'm not sure they've improved now, but it definitely isn't a look QVC should be aspiring to for their flagship range. They really need to stick to doing good/believable copies of fine jewellery and I'm not saying everything needs to be small, dainty or understated, but it does need not to look cheap and nasty! They also need to leave the "designing" to somebody who knows what they're doing, not throw it over to the Loose Women, as you'll end up with something as vulgar as they are!

I would imagine stainless steel is quite heavy when made into jewellery. I do like the look of the lotus flower design of the month for July and could be tempted. There’s another Diamonique show on Sunday so hopefully Smarmy Lee won’t be on.

I wonder if Alison O’Reilly isn’t on these days because of the large amount of stainless steel they offer. I hope she’s not poorly again
