Bit harsh! We chat quite a lot about the models after all. I’m not sure I’ve seen this one before. There’s one model (don’t know her name) who is quite ‘unmodel’ like. She has a pleasant face, a lot of curly hair, maybe a bit of middle age spread and just looks absolute normal. Makes a nice change.

I agree. This model probably reflects the age and body shape of the majority of QVC's fashion customers. I don't wish people to be out of work, but the ultra thin, under 50 yr old models should be replaced, imo, as well as the presenters whose behavior is just, plain silly, e.g. the Goldsmith woman.

Nothing against the models on QVC, I think they do a good job bearing in mind what they have to model. I agree with Grizelda about the ultra thin models. Out of my female friends only one is tall and willowy. Just go and sit in a busy train or bus station for half an hour and do a mental consensus of height/weight/age and you’d probably only see a dozen or so women that are similar to the models QVC use.

QVC's models deserve medals. No way would I walk out on TV wearing some of the horrendous outfits they are asked to put on. Some models are much better than others. I like Michelle, Maxine, Rachael, Andi, Jade but some of the newer ones are very wooden and look very uncomfortable. Model Deborah was on today and she's a larger size and lovely but I felt sorry for her having to model some horrendous Malissa J nonsense.

I preferred it when the catwalk was in place, so the models would walk and turn and do the whole "model" thing.

Now they stand still, do a bit of a side turn and that's it. Anyone of us could do that ! I'm not keen on the wash and set model or the one who wears the scarf, she looks to frightened to move.
