Haven't seen much of these lately. Are they being added to the QVC scrapheap I wonder ?

Clientele are still there but no brand shop now. I actually bought the neck cream from ebay at the weekend for £13.49 including shipping.

Aveda, well Estee Lauder bought the company and pulled them from QVC.

Oh! I didn't know about that. I wondered where Aveda had disappeared to. I still have the litre pump bottle in my shower. I fill it up with teatree shampoo now, as I love the pump dispenser, and the bottle is so chunky.

MOP hair products? Used to stock up on the large sizes & TSV's. Now have to buy off the shelf @ John Lewis.

QVC got me onto Aveda many many years ago and I've stuck with them. I've tried other brands but they don't quite match up to my Blue Malva etc ....

Luckily I have an Aveda hair dresser in my town so can get their stuff. But the prices to have your hair done :mysmilie_466:

Markon shoes are another one to "disappear". Over the past 12 months loads of regular brands have hit the highway, and what are we left with ? mainly QVC own brand stuff and Birkenstocks ! Just take a look at the show pamphlet that arrives with the goods, its boring boring boring, and the TSVs are the same old stock - NN, Dimoneeeeeeeek, Prepology (it must be good if there's an ology at the end of it !) and Hi -Tech - yet ANOTHER TV or latest camera - is there no END to the latest hi tech cameras for heavens sake????

I still have jewellery from the couple of shows that Zondra Rhodes did years ago, are they collectors items now ? Pity the same could never be said about Lulu and her stuff !

Why dont we get unusual shows like that anymore ?

QVC always used to have such a variety in their shows but they are becoming more & more like IW & I refuse to shop with that lot now.

Saw Ojon in a discount makeup store @ Gunwharf Quays Portsmouth the other week
( maybe have it @ Cheshire Oaks too? not sure) John Lewis stock it too.haven't done a price comparison, expect QVC to score when it's a TSV.They are looking at so many items available at other places that they have to look @ costs.I always add in the P&P costs now.
Also stocked up on L'Occitanne when in Portsmouth.

An Aveda Madda Root Shampoo & their Rosemary and Mint Conditioner were the first items I bought from QVC!

We had this problem with MOP being discontinued until I found a really good site that do offers, different delivery prices for speed, loyalty points, friendly staff, and follow up tracking e-mails. Never had a problem with them and their litre sizes with pumps have been very good value compared to any TSV eg. 1 litre mixed greens shampoo 1 litre mixed greens conditioner with pumps £30. At the moment orders over £35 free delivery. Worth a visit but their site does not have pear body wash, sorry Queenie, they only have shampoo. Mophair.com tel:Order line: 01179 270432.

markon went downhill when they ctarted to be made in china........[ least i think it was ]..the leather was rock hard & the sizes came up small.....didnt worry me any which way as they were always either too big or too small....miss MB tsvs as i used to buy them for stocking fillers etc......EL cant knock them toooooooo much as i love love love their EL double wear mascara........takes some beating.....i too miss my aveda esp their conditioner.........
the micro fibre towels in the so called 'plush' have been consigned to the dogs as blankets

I read the QVC community boards they have on their USA site.

People over there complain how boring their shows are the same old same old over and over again. Days of Philosophy shows nearly every week, Clarisonic back yet again, Laura Geller has loads of TSVs and even shows. So from reading all this I get the idea QVC have tightened their belts and really pulled back on ranges they sell. Pushing brands that do well for them and no doubt they get big profit on(perhaps certain companies sell cheaper to QVC and they will make more from them). Or brands QVC themselves own Mally, Tova, NN etc.

Or people from the US don't want to travel over to the UK/Germany QVC that often.
