I'm not sure if this has been spoke about before but has anyone tried the treSonic cleanser that was on today (item number 432648) and a Clarisonic? Just wondered if there is much difference in them?

I've put off getting a Clarisonic as my skin can be quite red and I'm not sure my skin could handle it everyday, but as the treSonic is a bit cheaper I could justify getting it and only using it once or twice a week.

Don't waste your money on the Tresonic

Ha ha thanks. I had the feeling that Tresonic might not be as good but I just wanted to see what other people thought.

I have the Clarisonic StyleStar, and found when i was using it i was using it very heavy handed, don"t

know why i did this, but when i watched another presentation i realised how lightly the models were

using it on their faces, so i changed to the blue delicate brush and went much lighter on it, and i

only use it once a day. Find this much better . I think it has helped with my pores but im not sure

of any other difference, especially for the price. I actually like Emma Hardie"s clothe to finish my

cleansing, it seems to suit my skin. Each to their own i suppose, but not sure i"d pay the price

again :wonder:

Now SparklyBarb, add up how much you will spend on buying the Emma Hardie cloths at 3 for £10 over the year and compare to the price of the Clarisonic.

On a beauty blog I read, they loved the EH cleanser, but the cloths unravelled quickly when wash in the machine. They need a delicate wash and even then the reviewer said she had to replace more often than she expected.

Q still sell the Tresonics -

TreSonics Facial Cleansing & Massaging System w/ 4 Interchangeable Heads &Stand
QVC Price £37.50 Item Number 432648 P&P £4.95

It's got 152 reviews
Overall Rating 4.4 out of 5

but there seems to be concern about the availability of replacement heads.

Like Jabba said don't waste your money - go straight for the Clarisonic there really is no comparison. I bought the Tresonics first and it was ok - then saw the clarisonic on easy pay a couple of months after so bought this - it was sooooo much better. I have had mine for nearly 2 years now. Gave the Tresonics to my teenage son - and it was great for clearing up his acne skin.
