Bought this for my DD, was worried as it is quite chunky but she loves it and it does suit her very slender fingers bought in her normal ring size. Reviews have mentioned sizing probs. Very well made and good silver weight. No letter for me this year :mysmilie_378:

Wow that looks lovely. Some years ago I went to Sri Lanka with a friend and she had a ring specially made that was just like that. This one looks speciallly made as well ) So glad your gift was a success! It does make you feel good when you get it right :clapping:

A young friend is off to Thailand for 6 months in 2013 to work in an elephant orphanage.
This would be great for her. Now I only need to find out her ring size and it can be her going away pressie.

Lovely ring, I would imagine most of the sizing issues due to people forgetting you very often need to go up at least a size with a wide band ring.

That is true Frazzled but I hedged my bets and ordered her normal size. It is a very substantial piece of jewellery and although quite wide on the palm side she says it is very comfortable, it does taper slightly from the sides. She normally wears quite dainty reserved rings but she says she prefers this one even to the Pandora one she chose for herself! The eek stones were glistening quite nicely in front of my sister's fire last night too! I bought it for her as a cheaper alternative to the Egoli range that Q no longer do that we always liked but was way out of our price range.
