Spectrum Noir pens

What's your opinion of Spectrum Noir pens? I bought them a few days ago and have used them with the recommended paper and already one, a green one DG2, has run out of ink after about 3 square inches of coverage. I also find them terribly difficult to open---O.K.,I've got arthritic hands but even so,I can manage most pens. i have to wait until my husband is around before I can use them. I know they say that they are refillable----but no refills around as yet!
