Hi gemdreamer, gemstv only really do requests when they have special request hours, they had a few last week - I have requested items in the past in these special hours and it has been a bit hit and miss if my requests had been put on.  You could try ringing the personal shopper if it's something in particular that you are looking for have found the personal shopper prices seem now to be last price item has sold for which is a lot better than highest sold price that they have been doing for the last year or so, hope this helps
