Ae up he’s got those blue shorts on
I had the corded ones, we replaced the ear cups, and sold them for £60. I now have the Bluetooth version, and they are brilliant.Mine must be at least 16 years old. They’re the old cabled type but very comfortable. I used to take them on long haul flights as there had an adapter jack so you could use them instead of the naff airline ones. I might at sometime invest in a cordless pair. Certainly won’t buy from IW though.
Crusty crotch time.Ae up he’s got those blue shorts on
How much do they costI see old, skint, on the breadline Pedro is wearing a pair of Lacoste trainers. No Dr Kellers for him. Total fraud.
I did ask him once. He said he got something like 5% so not a lot really. He genuinely enjoys them and being the face of that show was a conduit for it.I always wondered if Sean Ryan got free cruises for him and his Mam
Just wondered what your view is overall on the current version of Ideal World? As bad as most us here make out, or are you more positive towards it?I did ask him once. He said he got something like 5% so not a lot really. He genuinely enjoys them and being the face of that show was a conduit for it.
I think the sales of the zone model really tanked, the sound was not especially good and the built in filter made you look like a Dalek. I think Dyson quickly brought out the on trac which was a major improvement over the zone to try and recover the situation. They probably gave retailers substantial discount to shift the stock. You can pick the zone up for about £300 if you look around.Eh, I wouldn't get carried away.
Firstly, IW won't have gotten them from Dyson, that's for sure. Best case is they got hold of unopened clearance stock from a retailer, worst case it's a retailer's customer return stock that was offloaded via the same clearance stock merchants they source mos of their "branded" stock from (and by "branded" I mean real brands, not in-house TJC ones, or pretend-y brands like AYGDH and XIFTE from Temu).
But you're right that Ideal World is selling an old version, the Zone — but which version?
The IW website listing title says it's the Zone Absolute, which is the model with a built-in air purifier.
Yet the images and the description on the Ideal World website only refer to the standard Zone model (without the air purifier). Given that the price difference between the two models originally was ~£250 (I think) that changes whether the £399 IW is charging for a pair is a good deal or not – if it's the model with the purifier, not bad - assuming you care about purifying air as you listen to Bucks Fizz (the 1996 version with Sally Jaxx, right?).
But if IW is charging £399 for the standard Zone model… not so hot since you can pick those up for around £299 elsewhere… and…
The Dyson OnTrac is the newest model, and it costs …£399 from John Lewis, Curry's etc. It has a longer battery life, better noise-cancelling, other upgrades, and a much better look than the Zone (which resembles a cross between a late 1990s public urinal and BT phone box to my eyes).
Those on air last night didn’t look overly attractive,I think the sales of the zone model really tanked, the sound was not especially good and the built in filter made you look like a Dalek.
