I could tell it upset you. And if they ARE hacked off with what's being said here, you are not one of the main protagonists and are usually very constructive in what you say. I thought it was a gutless and cruel thing to do. If they read the forum as we suspect they do, they will have picked up from your comments that you're disabled, and disabled people should be encouraged to contribute, and not be ridiculed by implication.
You know what the solution is... a black Friday 60% less insufferable tw*ttiness all round. I didn't see them talking about Jazzy but expect no less. At least when Rob or Joe were presenting in that hour they were constructive

Oh dear…He’s getting bad tempered…You wouldn’t want to upset him if you were some hapless Gallery oik, now would you?
he's so gormless and clueless, he needs them more than they need him. Some days he is literally parroting back what they say and trying to sound like it is coming from his own mind. It reminds me of Johnny 5 in Short Circuit 2 trying to help Ben with what to say on a date

Seems to apply to this channel only. Or does a similar culture exist on TJC? Maybe not? Too busy selling things to people, you might assume. For me, they have some key issues to address with Ideal World - problems that have hung around like a bad smell since it was launched…

1) Cut the unsourced price comparisons. Use sourced and viewer checkable ones only.
2) Only use genuine viewers product endorsing comments to the studio.
3) Keep a digital log to check presenter ‘factual’ lowest price ever statements about past showing of products are accurate or not
4) Don’t use high and out of stock RRPs on manufacturer websites as live positive price comparisons with goods in the studio. Only quote goods currently available to order at the time of broadcast
5) Stop the ‘We Got The Price Wrong’ hysterics.
5a) Don’t say you rub beauty creams into your dog’s paws..
I would add that when they do actually do a direct comparison they don't say where or when they checked the price. If it is Amazon, fair enough they are online only but Currys or say Dreams bedding, could be online prices that can be easily checked by the viewer. And also the other retailers will lower prices too. As someone who works with images professionally, the comparison graphics are shocking and lacking in detail or clarity. They basically lift the logo of the company and the item listing, no other checkable info

Peter knows, when he leaves IW, that is it for him, he isn’t getting another TV job
I think he will be doing Come Dine With Me and Celebs Go Camping etc. etc. but that's about the limit. Perhaps one of those shows will reignite his proper career and oops nearly got clipped on the head by that flying pig....

I thought he was going to be a brand ambassador for collagen.

He’s just read another text from Emma from Bristol
It's a pity Alex Knowles hasn't posted here lately. He might be able to speak to someone to tell them this is totally wrong, as they clearly won't listen to us. Of course the downside of that might be that the crew go on strike😂 (hopefully...)

Or they will do a Shaggy, and say It Wasn’t me

I think Peter, Sally and Mike are quite similar in that if you scratch the surface there's an angry person there. I think many of us have witnessed these behaviours with each of them, maybe when things go wrong, where their true self comes through. Although strangely when an incorrect (cheaper) price has been displayed they don't get angry, they do their 'OMG shocked face' and encourage you to buy dozens to take advantage of the alleged mistake.

I don’t think you’re alone with this. When I started work back in the late 60s, we had a manager who was like this. Yes, we had office banter but never crossed the line to be offensive. Our office was multi cultural, Asian, West and East African, Caribbean, Eastern European and South American. We got on well together and did Josh each other but never racially or religiously, although one guy insisted on calling Roman Catholics “rock cakes” for some reason.

The crude manager didn’t like it when all “the girlies” as he called us, reported him. He got transferred to another site in a far flung part of the Commonwealth. This was in the days before any discrimination laws.
I used to work for the police. A senior officer (who was nasty) was having an affair with the Human Resources manager, we all knew about it. He must have dumped her because she arranged for him to be posted to an outer London borough with immediate effect. One that was inconvenient for him to travel to. We were devastated🤪🤣. It was probably 20 years ago, you couldn't get away with that now.
