QVC Website P&P inaccuracies

Whilst browsing at QVC UK online this evening, i decided to purchase a ring.
P&P stated £4.95, for one ring, standard 2nd class.

However at checkout, the same silver ring, purchase amount one, offered me two postal options.. 2nd class standard £7.42 or 'DX SMS premium' set at £11.85

The £4.95 option had disappeared. How strange. I decided not to complete the order. I wondered if this was a common occurrence?

blimey - £7.42 as the cheaper p&p option for ring ? I'd expect it to be delivered by John Barrowman for that money.

You didn't have 2 rings in your basket as £7.49 is the total of one full & one half-price postage.

There's usually a drop down offering "faster" delivery at a higher price but I've never seen it replace the 2nd class / standest Hermes delivery price quoted in the item details. (DX would be my last choice for delivery, even ifit were free!). 'Tis a wonderful website!

If he was the courier I'd certainly get 'the letter' coz I'd be forever ordering things and asking for them the be collected lol
