Just watching Benefit Cosmetics hour 'twixt 2-3 pm and they have showed a product called Puff Off which is to do with helping puffy eyes. So that woman who presents it, not content with that silly 'Go Vertical' thing, got several products which people have alluded to over the years for puffy eyes. Cucumber in hand, waste bin to the side, she puts cucumber slices in the bin exclaiming 'Puff Off', the same with tea bags etc. I just find it all a bit silly to be honest. Puff off indeed.

Didnt see it but you've Puff me right off ordering it :mysmilie_59:

Must admit I find some of the presentations a bit juvenile at times and not just the skincare/makeup ones.

Okay, well I caught this and noticed the model still have the puffy eyes after the product.:mysmilie_11: Oh yes more shiny of course but they were still puffy.

I actually get puffy eyelids sometimes and keep Origins No Puffery in the fridge, the same tube has lasted me for years as I use so little.

Oh and she was talking crap about the pore primer. A few years ago according to her primers were a makeup artist secret. Strange how about 10 years ago QVC sold Smashbox and their primers.

I tried it at the BB under one eye and didn't see any immediate difference.
After the BB I watched some Flora Mare videos and was impressed by the demo of their eye cream, wish I had tried it at the BB.

I wish she'd temper her enthusiasm (is she called Lisa) I spoke to her at the BB and she was far more normal. Do they think this shouty delivery with naff punny names is impressive? Maybe when I was 15 I'd have found it cute but now Benefit seem to be trying too hard to come up with names which they find amusing. "Fine One One" was the last straw for me - a mediocre product with a very annoying name.

Grumpy old woman has spoken!

I feel the same about OPI nail lacquers - such ridiculous names for the colours. I too am feeling grumpy today !

And they have a new phrase for the new mascara they are launching as well, can't for the life of me remember what it is............equally as annoying as "go vertical"

I was just going to say the same about the OPI names. I find it annoying the way the presenters giggle at them and gush about how witty they are.

I think silly names like that insult the intelligence of the customer. A bit arrogant, really.

Even grumpier old woman agrees!

Ah, but if your name is Tiffany, puffy eyes, crooked teeth, 'elevenses', saggy cheeks and no eyelashes are no problem, - just get 'em "fixed" !!!!

Seeing her today on the tsv lashy thing, and there was no movement in her cheeks whatsoever. When she spoke, it was as if one was trying to hold her teeth in. Yes, I know we all do things to look our best, and at least Tiff's teggies have taught me one thing. A good even 'Hollywood' smile can make even the oldest face look younger !!

Just think a team of people will have spent days/weeks/months thinking up these names.I find Lisa too much & once you have seen one of these 'Puff Off'/'Go Vertical presentations that's enough after that it becomes annoying.

QVC has totally put me off Benefit products I used to buy them from time to time before watching these annoying demos.

I thought the curl power mascara looked better than the vertical one. I wear specs and have to wear an old pair and carefully apply mascara behind the glasses on to my eyelashes. It's not easy and they don't think about that! There's no way That I could apply the vertical mascara vertically. And what about the model Kathy? She is stunning for an older lady .......

I absolutely agree with you! The silly presentations are just too much, they seem to take viewers for imbeciles. I saw the 'puff off' presentation and thought l wish silly Lisa would **** off!!!

So I've heard Tiff tell the tale of getting drops at the optician that caused her lashes to fall out and how she faxed a photo to Natalia Revitalsh...yada yada yada...

So why don't the show said photo on air? Well we all know why don't we children?

Grump up ladies!
