I've noticed there are a lot of "cheap" fashion companies now airing on Q. Apricot and Izabel are names found in discount outlets and the quality is dire.

A lot of shiny slippery polyester in garish prints is also the fabric go to of Frank Usher whose prices are creeping up.

The old mantra of QVC hasn't applied for years now, there is no quality control and will soon be on a par with Temu and Shein.

Sadly, this is very true. Q and the aforementioned companies are really not geared up to compete with the likes of Temu and Shein. I think other companies likely to suffer are other fast fashion type outlets who will begin to look expensive (thinking of the likes of Boohoo).
These days I feel it's a sign of hard times when a well-known brand surfaces on Q.

I do need a set like this but it does look a bit ordinary. The dark one's a no no because of dog hair. We'll see what the price is.

This TSV reminds me of the old fashioned “coms” that were worn in the early 1900s.
IMHO they’re awful and agree with Backstreet Girl they’d stretch like billio.

They’re now showing the new colours of the Denim & Co jackets. I had to laugh when Katherine Goldsmith said “so beautiful and a gorgeous fit”. A model then came out in a salmon pink one that was so obviously didn’t have a gorgeous fit. It must’ve been a least 6” too small across the chest and didn’t have a snowballs chance in Hades of doing up.

A new model was wearing the jacket. "Busty," as Ruth Langsford would say. Do they dress the models in clothes that don't fit because they don't have samples in every size? This has been going on for a long time and lots of people have mentioned it. It's unbelievable that they still do nothing about it.

Surely they know in advance what size models they’ve hired to know what size clothes to dress them in? Sometimes it almost seems that they want to humiliate the larger ladies. I have noticed if the put a larger size on one of the skinny models it is usually mentioned that it’s the wrong size.

It may be that they hire a size 18 model and have size 18 clothes that are a tight fit (sorry neat). Even within same (non QVC) brands I can wear anything between a size 26 and size 34.

I’m so fed up with them not doing coats up even when they do fit,

Yes, fed up with it as well.

Helene Berman was selling a coat fairly recently that had no buttons - it was edge to edge. Who's going to buy a coat that doesn't fasten?

Exactly. Not much good having a nice warm coat if it doesn’t do up. At least if you have buttons/zips/press studs you have the option. Some of the buttonless coats that wrap over and tie with a belt might look fine on skinny models, but on the more plumpious of use, look like a sack I’d spuds tied up with string. Perhaps you’re meant to wear a gilet under them.

Perhaps Ms Berman has never had to stand on a freezing station platform waiting for a train that’s running an hour late. When I used to, it was thermal undies, jumper, cardigan, thick trousers and tights, padded coat, thermal gloves and a woolly hat. Oh and fur lined boots. I might have looked like the Michelin woman but at least I was warm.

Just caught a glimpse of this TSV with a larger model in the grey. I don’t wish to offend the lady but she’s been styled with it in a French tuck and it emphasises her midriff bulge. Mind you it is nice to see a normal, model rather than the tall, willowy, skinny binnies they use.

I thought the same last night when they put the larger lady in the green and tucked bits in which looked awful as opposed to the rest of them who had the top loose which would have looked much better on her
