A few years ago I bought some lounge trousers in bamboo.  They were heavy and the fabric was dull. However, they wore and washed well. The combination of viscose with the bamboo in this lounge set probably makes the fabric softer and lighter.  Bamboo grows quickly and it's cheap. I think we'll soon be seeing more clothing in bamboo.
