He goes into detail about the garment and doesn't tell you in what situations you can wear it or what you can wear it with. Does anyone take fashion tips from Michael or Glen for example? Most of their talk is....wear this with a little boot or pair it with a little pleather skirt. Most of us will buy a garment because we already know how we will wear it.

Patrick describes clothes as Julia Roberts did years ago. It’s useful to hear why seams are where they are, purpose of darts (but how many QVC garments boast darts ?), weight, weave and ‘hang’ of the fabric (commonly called “‘fabrication’”) and the intended fit (e.g. close, smooth or loose).

Sadly Julia rabbits on about herself too much nowadays and has the odd dig at guests.
