No more "chat"?

Just heard John Scott mention that the presenters are not supposed to do "chat" any more - I presume he means with the viewers through text and e-mail.

I had noticed that Rocks & Co is not as "chatty" as before, and it's a real pity. That kind of interaction was fun and an encouragement to watch. I'm posting this in the hope that Rocks & Co management will read it, and will decide that "chat" (especially with John Scott!) is good for business after all.

Oh, good - that's a relief!
I'm sorry I missed the shout-out. I watched the Rhonda Faber Green collection; lovely but really out of my price-range (and I think if I wanted designer jewellery I'd go to a designer store). It would have to be either rainbow moonstone or rainbow sapphires to persuade me to break the bank!

ohh what, i'm not happy about that, i love Rocks and Co's interactions they are never in a rush like the other jewellery channels, i always email in Jerilee Claydon, she's a great presenter. I hope Rocks & Co continue to chat with the audience.

While I'll admit that I've never bought from Rocks & Co I do like to watch John from time to time when I need cheering up. Service is now so appalling at Gems (too busy taking over the world to worry about its British customers any more), that I have hmm'd and arr'd a bit over a couple of pieces. I'm watching The One Collection, showcasing Tanzanite, With the young lady Alex and Don presenting, he's saying all the same stuff that I fell for last time. What i would like to know, How can you purchase stones seven years ago and show them to us saying they are the price of seven years ago too. he's banging on about top quality, right here, right now, at these prices, dealers out there wanting it - I can't believe I'm showing this excellent fire, excellent lustre... The best of the best, not easily found... Blah, Blah. People are going to jump on these big time. His chat is like a salesman... At least John Scott makes it a more enjoyable listening experience.

I wish they'd have less of these double headers, I can't watch when they do - especially with John Scott as he appears to have to tone himself down when in the presence of these gem gods and it just all feels very false to me. The only exception is when the lovely Debbie Cavill is on as you get the impression that who ever she is on with, they get along.
