Just received an email invitation - be still my beating heart.

According to them they have taken note of my feedback - which feedback would that be?

Could it possibly be that going from several purchases per week to hardly ever watching and nothing much ordered this past year has been noted?

In the good old days when I reviewed nearly every order I always rated Q itself, if not the product, highly but in the past 18 months the few times I have left a review Q's performance has been rated very low.

One way or another, I won't be suckered in to their proxy groups which will only be smug self satisfied oriented articles.

I received the email too. I must be one of their worst customers and spend hardly anything with them.

Now Vienna if we accept this invitation we will need a virtual outfit from Q range. In order that we don't clash what will your choice be?

I`m gonna pretend I`m a size 12 and squash myself into a rather fetching Quacker sequin T shirt or jumper, with a pair of baggy Yong Kim Aladdin trousers, all tucked into an even baggier pair of Emus, with my tartan knee socks folded over the tops, all finished off with a monkey mania beanie hat and a dreamkeeper poncho and camouflage company carrier bag to hold my knitting and crossword books just in case the lounge telly is broken !

Darn! That was my first choice. Now it will have to be:

Kimmies goucho trousers with my spanx knickers on over the top
M Hope nylon thingy
Crisp white blouse over/under- can't decide
The drabest Birkies they do
Dennis Basso PVC raincoat with animal print inserts
As much B&W bling as I can manage
But I will bring a bit of class to the affair with a LG handbag.

I feel an acute attack of QMLE* coming on. The only cure for this dreadful condition is a bag of Calico Cottage Fudge Mix taken with a large box of Thorntons chocolates and a Simple Simon pie followed by ten weeks of Diet Chef. Repeat as necessary.

*Q Members' Lounge Envy

I got the email today and got accepted into the lounge, not gone into it to see what it's about. I've hardly bought anything recently and hardly watch either.

Now this sounds like a trend. Those chosen are people who have not bought anything for a long time. So instead of offering easy pay or even a £5 voucher, they are luring you with a special lounge.

So you will besties with Dicky, Charlie, Debs, Jill and AY now. :mysmilie_8:

Now ladies, whatever you wear, I guarantee you will not look out of place.

About 8 years ago I was invited to Q Towers at Battersea, for a fashion preview - with nibbles and goodybag ! I should say out of the roughly 100 customers invited, 80 of them (not me), turned up in Indigo Moon jackets, Kim & Co plain slinky '2 pieces', or Centigrade puffa coats !!!

its the same with the beauty bash. nearly everyone had a kipling bag including me and my sister. she had a centigrade coat on as well.

Does nobody actually know what this thing is? Can't find any mention of it on the website. Is it perhaps like a forum? If so, I think comments would be monitored, or we'd end up being banned!

The link from the email takes you to a very short survey. It appears they are looking for a specific demographic as there was a list of jobs "someone in your household" does. I picked the one nearest my job and immediately was told I was not required!

If they use these folk for feedback then it is going to be very much manipulated me thinks.

I was invited into this as well the other day, I did the questionnaire and I was accepted. I have no idea what happens now though. lol! I don't spend a great deal with QVC but the last thing I bought was The Sak TSV for my Mum and then the time before that was the SBC QVC for me, my Mum & my friend.

I do ones for Debenhams and House of Fraser. Someone on Facebook put an link up to look round the site.

It looks to me to be the same idea as Debs and HoF, you get surveys about different aspects of QVC and go into a prize draw for doing it. I am very honest in my surveys( I am sure they dread my replies as I take no prisoners:mysmilie_10: I will say why I did not buy as its a load of rubbish), but have never won anything in the prize draws.
