Isn't that the root slayer thing Tommy Cross was punting a while back? Anyhoo, I could do with this.

Super, are those honeycomb and bee planters a QVC product or are they coming soon?

Missed it but I'll see it tomorrow. I want to buy this but Mr CC is saying NO. He says if I need the garden digging I just need to ask him. WTF? I've asked him a zillion times and I meant within 6 months or the next 6 years. I thought this small choppy spade would be easy for me to do it and I most definitely need that little weeder tool. What do I do people? Buy it, have it sent to mum's, pick it up when we're next there and pretend she bought it for me? Or do I just say I'm buying it and buy it, reminding him of the vibra leg thingy he bought for £99 and never used.

Oh definitely the last one. But get the vibra leg thingy and say that if uses it every day for a fortnight, you'll send the weedy thing back...

He is probably too scared for you to get one, it looks like a deadly weapon, as already demonstrated by the murder of a melon.

And yet again, there is totally inadequate info in the description, such as whether it is stainless steel. So I've asked the question, just on principle that they may get the hint to improve the description. Obviously, they won't answer.

And BTW, they compared the price to the GG website, but they are both out of stock!

Murder of a melon :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: You can buy the weeder thing for £10 on Amazon but I quite fancied the spade as well. We've had rats and I thought maybe I could do a kind of slap/chop thing to kill them. That's not going to happen but I liked this when Tommy Cross had it as the root slayer. It had a lot of 5 star reviews.

I don't feel there should be a major household discussion on whether I spend £30 on a spade when Mr CC would spend that on two rounds of drinks and not bat an eyelid.

I love the description on the TSV page SCW posted ….: ‘marvel at the spade’.
Have any if you actually marvelled at a spade? I know i haven’t….. 🤣

Heard MP quietly quickly slip in the word ’steel’ but not clearly the x is made of steel.

I've found online it is made of ordinary steel that will rust, not stainless.

My stainless steel spade and fork cost £9-99 each from Lidl and will never rust.
Just taken me back years to my dad and his rusty fork and spade.. and his very rusty wheelbarrow that was blooming heavy

I relented and bought it as well because my soil is also clay. The smaller tool will be used for weeding.

I haven't bought it though I wanted it. We're at the caravan so can't get deliveries and mum's going on holiday this week so I can't send it there. I'll just have to make do with my crappy trowel until the next time. Let us know Toril and Breeze how heavy/useful they are.
