I've said it once and I'll say it again, Joan Collins lipstick is amazing. I feel a million dollars in it.

Joan's lipsticks are really surprisingly good. I think I look better with a full on lipstick and these are proper colours iykwim, maybe it's the shape of my lips (DD is the same, lip gloss and pale nudes just don't look right), my big sis has amazing Julie Christie lips which I always coveted during the 60s and 70s! We always want something we don't have!

Anyhoo, if you're a lipstick girl I can recommend these. I also bought this when it was an OTO and the polish lasted very well on my nails, the bottle reminds me of bottles in the 70s (possibly Cutex before it relaunched in the 80s) and is easy and comfortable to hold and use. http://www.qvcuk.com/Joan-Collins-2...tml?sc=AZMHB&cm_sp=VIEWPOSITION-_-18-_-208536

I'm off to look at the colours in this OTO...I could be tempted.

I know what you mean Akimbo, I look awful with nudes or wishy washy shades, maybe it's because my lips are pretty rosy anyway so a lipstick has to be strongly pigmented to show up. That's why I love Joan's lipsticks, the colour in the bullet is the colour that shows up on your lips! A novelty indeed given so many brands obsession with a 'wash of colour'... honestly what's the point?

Not sure about the other two 'options', but wonder if the Fontaine choice is after Joan Fontaine (Olivia de Havilland's sister).

I must admit I love what I call a proper lipstick but have resisted the JC ones purely and simply because there`s few colour choices. Thankfully Max Factor still do good old fashioned lippies in many colours and I`m a big fan of them. Hopefully JC will bring out more shades.
