Does anyone remember Jan Springer. She was a gold expert that edited some magazine or other. She was middle-aged and had a washed out perm. I liked her voice though, she was always very relaxing to listen to. What ever happened to her? And Dawn Bibby? And Katy John? (an elfin presenter who was quite charming) Where are they all? What about that horsey woman with the vacuum cleaners? And Adrienne Cleasby? And Suzy Adams?

Jan Springe still does some of the gold shows when they do a 3hr show and that

Dawn Bibby is now on Create and Craft

Adrienne Cleasby and Suzy Adams are still on very often

Does anyone remember the Canadian (I think) woman who was on flogging costume jewellery made with "interesting" gem stones, she always seemed to bellow like she was trying to reach Canada from here without any assistance!?

I used to like watching Jan Springer back in the day when it was possible to buy some of the less expensive pieces. Nowadays the prices are just silly.

I think she was always on the Gold Show at 6pm on Mondays? Do they still have that, or any of the other specialist times such as 5pm Fri for fashion and 10pm Weds for technology ?

Eric"s Mum they still have fashion on a Friday , usually with Julia, today i think
she"s on with Kim at 5 p.m. No jewellery on Monday at 6 p.m. I remember
it also. On Thursdays they have beauty with Alison, but yesterday it was a
new show with Alison and her side kick Will, which was weird :wonder:

Alexandra Eliot/Elliott by any chance. Liked her designs and have a couple of pieces. Disappeared off the face of the earth, but is no doubt around somewhere.

Lol yes buttery! I love that word. It is almost ok to use in terms of describing gold, as it is yellow. But what I can't understand is when Jilly Halliday calls leather handbags / clothes "buttery soft." If a handbag were like butter it would be no good at all!
No EM, they've just lost it in general.

Julius, you mean Jan "Buttery" Springer surely!
