Did anyone buy the Pandigital scanner last week?
Its a great little scanner that you scan your old photos onto a SD card and I thought the presenter said you could down load your photos onto your PC and play around with them but I have found if I want to rotate an image etc it wont save the image .
The instruction leaflet is next to useless so I was wondering if anyone else has bought one and know what I'm doing wrong the other mystery is a piece of card with a bit of foam stuck on it and a piece of card that says calibrate I've no idea what these are and theres nothing in the instuctions to say anyone have any ideas please.

Right, well I don't have this one but I DO have the Journe scanner that they sold first. You need to run the calibration card through from time to time so that it just resets everything and copies properly. The piece of foam?? Does it have a clear piece of acetate attached to it? This could be the carrier sheet for when you are trying to scan a torn photo. You must make sure your pictures are clean and dust free with no blobs of adhesive on the back from the sticky pages on your album. If the photos aren't clean they will leave marks on the finished image.

I don't have it any more because I sent it back after I'd scanned all my old pics hee hee

The card with the sponge is the cleaner. The piece of sponge stops the card being transported through the scanner. Cleaning prevents white lines on your images. The calibration card is for exactly that, to reset the scanner after you've scanned a few dozen pics.

Full instructions shoud have been in the box. They were for me.

When I've been watching the electrical presentations, I'm pretty sure that the presenters have said that QVC customers have access to specialist technical help. I'd call QVC customer service if I was you and ask them to transfer you to their technical product helpdesk.

Thankyou to gem genie, burlybear and iloveshopping for your help at least now I know what to do with the card with the sponge and the other card about calibrations there was only a piece of paper that showed basically how to scan a photo in, no other instructions at all and I will try the technical help about the problem I have in not being able to save the photos etc .I went back onto Q's web page to see if the shows video was on there to hear what was said about being able to do things to your scanned photos but its not on there anymore typical.
