Does Molton Brown have expiry dates on there Gift Boxes?

IW have been Selling Molton Brown over the last three days Gift Sets, Three 300ml bottles for £29.99, I ordered some as it seemed cheap.

But it seems strange Molton Brown would allow IW to stock there stuff, apparently the items don’t come in the colour of the gift boxes Molton Brown are using this season, the Boxes are orange.

Due to IW Returns I can’t open the box to check.

I know it’s nothing to do with QVC, but wondered if you girls had any idea

I was going to check the manufacturing dates from the codes on each bottle.
I think they are last Christmas stock.
I thought the hand wash & the shower gel sets were in brown boxes & the travel set in either red or orange.
Will update when received.

I never checked their returns policy, this was my first order.
Will use anyway, as had MB stashed away for a while and still ok, depends if you want to give as gifts.

Thanks due to IW returns system, you can’t open the box

I’ve just looked on a set I purchased last week direct from Molton Brown and there is a code on the bottom right of the back of the box.
Checked on checkcosmetic.net for manufacturing date & manufactured in May this year, so will do the same when receive order from IW

MB 12 months on their bath/shower and body lotions. I imagine the same for hand washes etc.

Now, I doubt they will turn bad on the stroke of 12 on the 12 months. I also doubt the IW stuff is only last year, perhaps 2 years. Depends on if the stuff in the boxes is discontinued and when it was.

Did they say which ones are in the box?

I think the other two in the shower gels with the Black Pepper were Coastal Cypress and Tobacco Absolute.
I only got a quick look tbh.
Didn’t spot what the hand wash option contained.

I think MB is 12 months once opened? So probably 2 or 3 years unopened, just depends how old the stock is that IW have been given.

Perhaps MB had loads of sets in their outlet and QVC said no to selling, so IW jumped at the change to sell them.

Companies will rather sell quickly, unsold stuff and have it sitting around on shelves.

IW is basically TJC anyway but no kit contents or anything so the price is tempting but until i know whats in them i wont touch it

Found a company that photographed the 2023 Christmas gifts and the boxes look the same, fingers crossed they are manufactured in 2023.

Me neither but you and jazzydury lured me to the dark side Out of curiosity I tuned in to IW, registered and I ordered the set ! being despatched 12/11 - looks like the three you posted Lloyd from what I saw and online comparisons. Also watched a "presentation" of the pink pepper set - no mention of sizes although it seems travel, just gel, body lotion and fragrance. Again on website no details at all - as SCW says, weird sums it up because unless you saw presentation you wouldn't have a clue what was in it. Now at 9 their pick of the day is a Yankee candle advent calendar must admit am fascinated by the sales pitches- "you could have waited all your life for this " (a watch)
