Haha. I thought the title meant the Clarks presenter was showing the inside of a shoebox - the way they do when selling jewellery. Thought this was taking filling time to the extreme!!

I hope it is very temporary as it made the whole thing feel really miserable. It reminded me of one of those really dull Sunday morning political chat shows. I wondered if QVC were trying some sort of minimalist look to try and go up-market or something.

Surely you organise things so that you re jig the studios in rotation so that you are not actually filming during renovations. We keep hearing about other studios and running from this studio to that studio.

Imagine watching the news without desks and they have the computers on their knees just because they are making up the flat packs in the corner.

TV studios are their stock in trade and as such it is very amateurish for them not to be 100% as this is their shop window to the world.

Such a shame QVC haven't grasped an opportunity to innovate, and do some outside broadcasting. Even if they didn't want to do that, I am sure they could have hired some studios in better shape than their current claustrophobic temporary sets.

they used to all the time & all that but the costs just got too much to do them as they used to send them to italy & Q US to do shows ect quite often
