I have to say it. The Bob Mackie clothes are so awful. And I have never heard such a load of rubbish coming from Catherine and her young sidekick.

I know his claim to fame was designing for Cher, but I have not seen one single item that I would consider wearable. Catherine looks as though she is off to her judo class in that awful tunic. The guest (another fashion stylist from god knows where) talks as though she knows him personally) would probably not be seen dead in this stuff. I would prefer Kim and Co, and thats saying something.

I didnt see the shows yesterday but I have got a couple of Bob Mackie fleece jackets and they are lovely, well made and comfortable to wear. My mum has some too and she loves them.

Bob Mackie's not really my thing. I always think it's for stylish older ladies but I did like that orange tunic Sharon was wearing with the beaded sleeves. There's worse clothes - Yong Kim for one (if that's correct). Catherine looked like she was wearing something that had been at the bottom of my laundry basket for 2 years - not ironed and dirty. Their prices are stupid as well. At least Bob Mackie is affordable if you want to buy it.

I bought a black zip-up robe and love it. Teal embroidery, lovely fabric and good fit. Based on that, I would purchase another piece. But some, well most, of his tops are OTT for me.

I do have a couple of his T shirts which I really like and they wash well, not keen much else.

I've just seen a ghastly psychedelic dress on now and JF said "I don't think this will be here at the end of show" - I think she's right, would imagine the Fashion police are en route as we speak!

His clothing might not be good enough for the opening poster but certainly are for me. Have a couple of his fleeces that are excellent quality (bought off ebay) and I've been wearing a pair of his cotton 3/4 trousers this week. Again good quality material and finishing. Some of the bolder patterns and designs are going to appeal to a particular taste like all clothing ranges.
